“So, let's get this out right away. This is a great place to stay. The staff is wonderful, friendly and accommodating!! The rooms are recently renovated, beds are comfy and the water is hot. These are all the key factors of any hotel stay. This hotel is under renovation. So there are issues that come along with that. None of which interfered with our one night stay. This is not a 5 star hotel. Do not expect it to be a 5 star hotel. The restaurant is closed due to the work, but they provide a very nice and simple lobby breakfast. The smoking area is down at the end of the hotel so there aren't people swarming the front entrance. I am a smoker. I appreciate this. We will definitely stay here again on our travels.”

“We had out of town guests ( 6) they loved the Historical atmosphere of the house. They enjoyed the comfort of having a complete kitchen & living room for relaxing. Very clean reasonably priced. The only problem was the bathroom tubs, were high and no grab bars to get in and out. Over all it was a Great experience for them. I would highly recommend this house to friends.”

“My wife and I recently stayed at Starlight Hill with the Hay family. The experience was wonderful. The Hays were extremely accommodating especially since we were last minute. We were only needing lodging for one evening and arrived late at that. Upon arrival, the family was enjoying a nice evening by the wood burning fireplace. We spent the next hour visiting and listening to stories of the farm. The Hays really make you feel like family. Breakfast the next morning was amazing (omelettes, sausage from the local butcher, fresh baked blueberry bread and fresh fruit). If we are ever back in the area, we will definitely be staying at Starlight Hill.”

I contribute 50% to the location, comfort, and amenities provided by Falls Market Inn & Suite, and the other half to the handsome man who took me away for a lovely weekend. If you get the opportunity and are a more advanced hiker, check out Jonathan Falls. It absolutely does not get the notoriety it deserves. Going with fresh snow literally made it feel magical. 💕”

“Christine was an amazing host. The wine and cheese welcome was much appreciated. Breakfast was perfect. Loved staying in the home of Oscar Hammerstein. I’ve been a fan of his music and musicals for decades. I could not believe that I was actually sitting on the porch where he wrote the lyrics to “Oklahoma”. We stayed in the South Pacific Room which was Oscar’s master suite. I could go on and on but it’s best if you experience Highland Farm for yourself. You won’t be disappointed.”

“Husband and I were out for the weekend for our 10 yr anniversary, small place but room was definitely great for us, the wonderful lady that checked us in was so sweet,cleans the rooms herself,and the room smelled clean fresh linens, microwave and small fridge,flat screen tv .... Very home like place... Would recommend if your a coffee drinker like we are to bring your coffee pot,cups and whatever you prefer in your coffee but we take ours regardless of where we stay thank you Susan your very sweet talked to us for quite a while because I work at a motel also so plenty of questions and we did enjoy our chat love this place.... “It was a fun Christmas activity for the whole family that did not disappoint! It was well organized and the staff was pleasant and efficient. We all thoroughly enjoyed the light show that was synchronized to the car radio Christmas music. There was an hour wait in the car line to finally reach the entrance. The only complaint we had was the extra $40. they charge If you wanted to jump ahead of the line without the hour wait to get in. It seemed like doubling the price for a No Wait experience was kind of a sleazy business tactic during the Christmas season. Overall we would suggest don't pay the extra $40. and enjoy talking, joking and singing to Christmas songs with your kids while you wait the hour!! Did I mention they do have " port a potties" on the grounds for emergencies.”

“When we ran into some unexpected issues with our home, we needed a close place to stay for our family of five. We were treated with the utmost respect by Tiffany, who worked the front desk, as well as the manager, Chrissy. It truly felt like our home away from home. Everything was clean and well taken care of. We ended up staying longer than we originally thought and Chrissy accommodated us with no issue. She treated us like family. Even my kids commented on how sweet she was to them. The housekeeping staff kept us fully stocked and were attentive to our every need. “I found this cozy motel at 3:00am in the morning when my car broke down. The AAA tow truck driver brought my car to a AAA auto service center and the Blue Mountain Motel was the closest motel available. This was fortuitous as the husband and wife team that manages the hotel make sure that all of the rooms are well-kept, decorated and quaint. It was also fortunate that I had enough cash to pay for a room. The next morning, a Sunday morning, no restaurant was open. The proprietors were gracious enought to prepare some toast for a tired, miserable soul such as me! Blue Mountain Motel richly deserves 5 stars for its warm, well kept, clean and decorated rooms and for its warm, down-home hospitality! I plan to fly back to Uniontown, PA, to pick up my car and stay at the Blue Mountain Motel again. I will post an update!”

“Get the getaway feel without going to far out of the way (bout an hour from south hills). My family and I stayed in their deluxe cabin which was charmingly rustic and suited all our needs (nice shower). Neat little trail to a peaceful creek a stones throw away. Plenty of nature, nice sunsets above corn fields. Watch out for the volleyball sand pit, made a painful mistake of playing barefoot and blew my foot out on a rock.”

“It's not bad for the cost, didn't know that I was getting placed at the smokers section though. Just the typical issues that everyone else had. Kind of wanted to shower but, there was no way to plug the tub let alone switch to the shower head. Room needed to be aired but, i didn't mind it too much. Breakfast doesn't start till 6:00 which, conflicts with my schedule. I was still able to grab an go though”

“We made a mistake and read the check in time of 5PM as checking in 5PM or later as that is when the tours would be over. They expect you at 5PM and if you are going to be arriving later reach out to them and let them know. The office isn't staffed 24/7. As far as the lodging aspect of the facility not everything listed was provided on our stay such as the complimentary wine, coffee was almost all decaf and no cups for the water cooler. None of this is a deal breaker and maybe a little whiny but for the price charged I think they could be a little more organized. Otherwise a beautiful stay and good recommendations from the staff for local restaurants and shopping if you forgot anything. We arrived on Tuesday and left on Thursday, that way we avoided the tours.”

“Sun and Cricket was one of the most memorable stays for us. The location of this B&B was perfect. It is close to civilization yet provides one the feeling of being far away in the country. The property is fantastic with a beautiful hayfield and a barn with lovely horses to visit. We stayed in the cabin adjacent to the main house. Tara and John are wonderful hosts - super friendly and very accommodating. Our custom made breakfast was beyond phenomenal. Tara makes a delicious breakfast that would rival any five star hotel. The cabin has ample room for a couple with a dining and living room area on the first floor and bedroom and powder room/shower on the second floor. It was super cozy and extremely comfortable. The bedding was very comfy too. Just a note, if you have mobility issues, the tight spiral staircase to the second floor might be an issue. The cabin and entire property is very clean and meticulously maintained. Honestly, Tara and John were so friendly it felt like we were staying with good friends. I highly recommend this very nice and comfortable B&B.”

“Our son (rising HS Freshman) just spent 2 weeks at US Golf Camps with Tim and Frank and had the best time. The amount of work and fun they were able to do in such a short time was amazing. He went to camp shooting in the low 100's, came home and just shot a best 93! The instructors, staff, facilities and campus were top notch. Getting the 1-1 time to be able to adjust his grip, swing path, speed and putting you just can't beat. I highly recommend this for any child looking to take their golf game to the next level. We look forward to next season and another visit to US Golf Camps!”
