“This is a definite hidden gem. We were able to have our breakfast while sitting on the patio overlooking the Youghiogheny River. The hotel is extremely clean. Our room overlooked the front of the building and it was quiet so it made for a great night of sleep. Staff was very friendly, especially the evening front desk employee on 7/12. She made us feel very welcome and you felt she was truly there to make your stay pleasant.”

“Our room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly, and it had a very nice breakfast setup. Loved the shower. I have a disabled brother who lives nearby this hotel and my sister and I have decided to make this our go to when we visit him. The only issue I had was that the sign for the hotel wasn't lit up and it is very hard to find the driveway in the dark.”

“This place is really a hidden gem. Immediately upon arrival, we were created with Mrs. Lenora herself. She offered us lemon water and homemade cookies. Our room was amazing and super clean. The restaurant might be our new favorite place to eat. Food was unbelievably fantastic. Everyone was super friendly and accommodating. Even the guests at the hotel was super easy to talk to and as friendly as they come (Heidi and John). We will be back in November for my daughter and husbands birthday. Loved it. “This place is awesome! We arrived way early because we tried to beat the rain but still were soaked by the time we got there. Joanna was very gracious allowing us to clean our bikes and even lent us her drying rack to begin drying our gear. I know we intruded on her morning but she went out of her way to help two soaked ladies. Later we met Joshua who took the time to check one of our bikes. We weren't sure if the rain and mud affected performamce so it was nice to have it checked out by an expert before continuing on with our journey. I would absolutely stay here again. It is spotless and so comfortable!”

“We attended a wedding June 23-24. The Venue was very unique and we enjoyed our stay. Service was very good all around as everyone was very pleasant. I would especially like to give a shout out to Audrey, the bartender who served us at the bar the night before the wedding and then again the day of the wedding. She made our favorite drinks while making us feel special both days. I was so impressed by how she could remain so pleasant while being extraordinarily busy!!”

“We love this campground and have had a seasonal site for several years. Friendly, family owned. Super clean and well maintained. They have a Swimming pool, basketball court, playground,Nice bath houses, and 2 indoor activity pavilions for bingo or a pot luck or a family reunion. Thetly schedule a few activities like bingo but it's mostly just a basic calm relaxing place to be. The price is reasonable and it's very safe.”

“Got the family together for a weekend camp trip and had so much fun at Bear Run! Staff was super friendly and so helpful with any questions you might have. We rented primitive walk-in sites and they were perfect, private, and relaxing! They also have a little gem mining station that our son loved, he had so much fun getting to play in the dirt and water! The pool and playground were nice and clean as well, our nephews had a blast being able to swim! Also the arcade was a nice little stop to play some pool and entertain the older kids for a bit! Overall, I was so impressed with this campground and will definitely be back soon! Super family-friendly and an awesome place to camp if have little ones! Highly recommend!”
