“I have camped here in early spring and mid-late fall; I had no trouble getting a campground either time; although I'm sure it's different in peak season. Great campground - large sites, well maintained, lit bathrooms with an outlet if needed, pretty area with some decent views of the hills in the Fall. Also, it's within walking distance of High Rocks Park.”

“Went here with kids and they had a great time. The whole orchard is open for picking, minus some select areas, but only the in-season stuff is well maintained. Bring boots or sturdy shoes. It is a much smaller operation than nearby Linvilla, but I found it to be just as charming. Yes there is a $2.50 entry fee, so what? Other orchards charge for baskets, and they do not here. We picked apples and bought pears from the farm stand. Keep in mind everything is organic and it's a small family operation. Next time we will check out their fishing hole.”

“I slept well in a comfortable bed. The room and hotel were nice. A shuttle runs every half hour to the airport. They have a restaurant that had good food, but it's a bit pricey. There are a few restaurants within walking distance. Most staff were very friendly and helpful.”

Only criticisms are that the water pressure in the shower could be better, and the minifridge was comically loud when it kicked on. Overall a nice stay at a cheap price.”

Elaine, Allie and the staff went above and beyond to make every detail for the service and reception more than we could ever imagine. Their attention to detail and making sure that everyone felt at home made the evening a total success. The wine and food were delicious. “This is an excellent Lodge for glamping. Our Troop has been coming here for years. We have 20 men stay in the lodge and we are comfortable. It has an excellent kitchen that is very spacious. Bring shower shoes, it has a shower with HOT water. Last time we went the freezer worked fine, not sure the fridge got down to 40 degrees though.”
