“Overall the hotel exceeded my expectations, I'm traditionally a Marriott loyalist who very rarely visits Hilton properties for personal travel, but based upon my family's needs this location was the most ideal. Room The room was clean and modern, the bathroom was spacious, my only concern is the slickness of the floor tile in the bathroom, I almost slipped in the bathroom. The mattresses were impressive, almost looking new. Food The breakfast, which was included, was organized, clean and the dining area was spacious, the selection ranged from the savory to healthy, satisfying my family's needs. Staff The staff was really friendly and able to check-in my family and I quickly and without issue. “My family stayed here while we visited Sesame Place amusement park. It was very close to the park, probably a quarter mile drive. It was nice that there was a shuttle from the hotel that dropped us off and picked us up. The room was a typical hotel room. Our room had a queen bed and pullout couch bed. The bed was very comfortable. The couch pullout bed was not unfortunately. They offered a hot breakfast that was very nice and had a lot to choose from for adults and children. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are staying in the area.”

“I stayed here for 2 nights with my son for his birthday he loved it! I got us the cave room. He couldn't get enough of the jacuzzi or the shower. He said we definitely have to come back. The breakfast could be improved to add a few more selections. Also the staff was very friendly and helpful!”

“This was our first time staying at candelwood suites. The entire hotel was very clean. The beds were some of the most comfortable hotel beds we have ever had. The rooms were spacious. I liked the lending library where you could check things out. We took advantage by getting DVD player and movie. I loved the little recipe card at the front desk from one of the staff members. Although, the hotel was great the friendliness of the staff at front desk was lacking.”

“My husband, daughter, and I currently reside there. In the beginning, they were a bit nit picky about the dumbest things, but we turned a run down home into something of beauty, that's for sure! In the beginning when we went looking at fixer upper homes, the staff was anything but pleasant. The property manager showed absolutely NO enthusiasm when showing us homes and made it seem like we were bothering her. I try to avoid the office as much as possible. I can say that the last 2 times I've had to contact them for something they were not rude at all so maybe they are starting to realize that being rude isn't going to get you anywhere (hopefully). I have to say I am SO GLAD they threw out some of the "TRASH" residing in the community. They have placed a beautiful new double wide at the corner of our street & there are also a few other brand new homes in the area that are really nice. The lot rent does go up every year, maybe $10 per year. Compared to a 2 bedroom apartment paying almost $1100/month, the $743 we pay really isn't bad at all. Where we live is very quiet. I feel as though we made a good choice moving here. I really like it. As long as you pay your rent on time and follow the rules, you won't have any trouble. Maybe the occasional attitude from someone who doesn't feel like working that day at the office, but other than that it's really not that bad. :)”

“Knowing this hotel before the fire and now, it seems like a completely different hotel! Total overhaul!. This is by far the best place to stay in this area in this price range! SLIGHTLY higher than it's neighbor motel but well worth the extra $10!”

“Very nice staff, I liked talking with all of them. I think they are over worked and under staffed, some things are not fixed the way they should be in the rooms and around the hotel. Very nice breakfast! Management are helpful, but once again they are stressed out over things that are not repaired like they should be. For example: the lobby PCs only work once in a while, had a broken closet door in one room. It's not really bad, but it could be better!”

“We stayed a couple of weeks ago. Room has been recently renovated and was very clean. Beds were comfy. Floor was clean (crawling-infant tested). Just wish the tub had a plug for the kids. Other than that, I'd definitely stay again.”

“I'm really surprised about these reviews. I've been here twice so far and both times the bathrooms were spotless! It's a regular campsite, nothing special or over the top but you'll have a good time with your company! We were up super late playing music and loud games and we didn't get in trouble. I like it here and plan to return!”
