“Stopped to see the park, not much here has a swing and other playground. Has a facility I would assume to be used for cooking. Also had a bandstand for music. Today's society would find this park quaint and rustic. It's a park people not your house. Enjoy the surroundings and trees.”

“I am happy Manayunk Canal is my neighbor area. I wish there were more benches, but less bikers during busy hours. At least, bikers ride bike in slower speed for the safety of people, especially kids. Because the trail is not that wide so I was scared by bikers from my behind. This is why I rated 4 stars.”

“Tiny little park, 2 cute picnic tables and a play ground for the kids. Regular swings as well as baby swings. It's a good park if your little one isn't afraid of heights or climbing. Mainly monkey bars and taller slides. There is a small path for them to ride a bike on as well!”

“This place was amazing! My husband and two kids age 2 & 4 loved how sweet the staff was to us. We loved the super nice immaculately clean heated pool and gorgeous lake. The kids also loved the ducks they feed. They had live music the night we went which was so fun to hear from our site and have our daughter dance her heart out or go converse with others in their very nice pavilion area. To top off an amazing experience they are also military friendly!! We can’t wait to get back again!”

“A really fascinating tour of a real coalmine, taking you deep into the earth and enveloping you into the experience of the miners of years past. The gift shop is also nicely priced. Meanwhile, it seems that for locals there are myriad opportunities for recreation, while natural beauty abounds as well. Highly recommend.”
