“Great place to shop if you enjoy family owned department stores. They have hard to find items, like Kitchen Aid supplies and canning supplies. This store is smaller than some of the others. They also have a web site.”

“Came here to play a round of disc golf. Great short game course. The baskets are a little small so putting is challenging, but we only had about an hour to spare and were able to do the whole course. Great experience. Definitely recommend it for learning control.”

“I absolutely love Malcolm X park, when I was a kid my mom and me used to live there. The area is just so amazing considering how close it is to University City, I remember every summer Malcolm X's daughter would come and talk about her father's legacy she was such a beautiful woman. To me Malcolm X will always be one of my favorite parks, sometimes I just go back on my past and think about how much I miss that area.”

“A well maintained series of trails with an occasional washout here and there. I mostly use them for mountain biking and occasional hiking with a friend. There's a decent variety of terrain but no extremely dips and climbs like other parks. Dress warm in winter because the wind really whips across the top of the plateau! Nice scenic views of the valley but don't expect any lush gardens or water features as it's mostly scrubby growth and blueberry bushes.”

“Great place to take your little kids to play in sand box and go play on swings”

“Campground was decent, and we were able to setup 3 tents without issue on our lot. I recommend bringing a mallet and some heavy duty stakes as the ground is stony. Hiked the Falls Trail, which was busy with a lot of families, dogs and small children. The Falls themselves are beautiful, and seeing so many in succession was a unique experience. The trail is maintained to a high standard, and is easy to navigate. So long as you are not in really terrible shape you should make it around without any problems.”

“Beautiful trail through Dark Hollow.”
Address: 1-7 Greenwood Rd E, Fayetteville, PA 17222, USA
“Nice trail with multiple stream crossings and some small ponds. Connecting with Hosack trail and the Appalachian trail makes a fun loop. Going through Dark Hollow gets a little steep. If there has been much rain, stream crossings can be challenging.”
Address: 2880 Table Rock Rd, Biglerville, PA 17307, USA
“I love this park! Big and usually quiet, clean, with lots of areas to take the kids to play. One playground is roped off so the kids couldn't play on it, and that was disappointing, but we love the trails through the woods and around the pond. Plenty of free parking and lots of ball fields, and a nice dog park.”
