“This is one of my favorite parks to come to and it is beautiful. There's a baseball field, park, pavilion, trails, and plenty of space to do whatever. The views are incredible and it's always a pleasure coming here.”

“Very cute park. You arent allowed to take dogs because they want to preserve nature. I do like that aspect of preserving but I also like walking my dogs on hikes. Pond has seating around it if you just want to take your time to enjoy it. Lots of nature!”

“A nice 5 mile round trip hick, a lot of inclines but they level out so you get some good blood pumping without killing yourself.not great for those with children. It's a scenic hike with lots of green, we spotted some deer on the trail too. More than a few joggers on the trail but they were all polite and gave warning. Dogs friendly but keep leashed as there is water, animals, and the before mentioned joggers. Overall a ni e afternoon outing.”

“Another of York County's less used parks. The main trails are wide and in good shape, although not terribly scenic. Today we went off the main trails. The vista at the end (of the dam) was interesting, but the trail there wasn't particularly well maintained. Good for a change of pace, but there are nicer parks that are closer to civilization.”

“We had a stand at the water which was so nice and beautiful. The campground host's friendliness made us feel welcome. The no-flush toilets unfortunately ruined it for us. And the showers was a little too far from the water sites.”

“It is a very nice campground. There are permanent residence campsites, limited time stay campsites, small cabins, luxury cabins, and more cabins. The luxury cabins are very nice, but you may want an air freshener. The couch is even a futon. There is a haunted house which is terrifying. It is an awesome place.”

“Grown up with this park. Great place to have events and picnics not to mention the pool is opened during those hot days. What you would expect from a community park!”

“Lovely place, as a long time resident of the town I can truly say that Good’s store is a fantastic place. It can be a little pricey but good on average. And great with kids they have an amazing token system to reward children.”

“I'm not really a fan of zoos, but I have to say, for a small zoo, all the animals seemed to have plenty of space. And there were many workers constantly cleaning cages and their living spaces. Wear your hiking boots because the terrain is like a hiking trail. Strollers and wheelchairs were there, but were having a rough go at times. It's a small, and seemingly well cared for place.”
