“The one photograph here looks more like a beaver dam than anything else. I assume what they are talking about here is the parking lot adjacent to the lake at French Creek State Park. As far as parking lots go, it has pavement, painted lines that you can park your car in between and some extra long spots in case you might be towing a trailer because many people bring a trailer with a boat or canoes or Kayaks that they take out on the lake. I don't usually get too excited at parking lots, so I gave this one for stars. It's not a very big parking lot and many times I go there it is jam-packed, especially on the weekends in the summer. There really isn't enough parking for the amount of people who come there on weekends in the summer.”

“This parking lot is on the PA side of White Clay Creek State Park, making it a no-pay lot. All the lots on the DE side of the park are $4 for DE residents, $8 for non-DE residents. This lot provides access to all of the park trails, although it is a long walk/ride to the southern parts of the park from this parking lot.”

“This trailhead provides great access to the Schuykill River Trail and the old railroad bridge that crosses the Schulkill River. It’s a short but beautiful walk through the woods on a fine crushed gravel trail. Bring a bike and you and ride for miles through great scenery.”

“The parking here isn't bad but you have to walk far and it fills up quick. The parking all over Jim Thorpe isn't that great so here isn't to bad for the price.”

“Fairly large parking lot. The Tank Hollow Overlook isn't too far from it. If the gate is open, as it is during hunting season, there are several other parking areas even closer to the overlook.”

“Very full. Expected because of time. Well managed by attendants”

“The only marker for the parking lot is the number 1200 on a 4 foot high 4x4 post. South of of the parking lot drive is the Nature Area's sign. The entrance to the lot is very easy to miss and the drive into the lot is only wide enough for one car at a time. There are about 20 spaces for parking. This lot is very popular with mountain bikers. It has a bike fixing station with tools. The lot has quick access to several great trails. In addition to mountain biking, hiking and trail running are great on these trails. There are also two picnic tables right around the trail corner from the lot.”
