“Two years ago, I went to another dermatologist about a sore on my face that wouldn't heal. She said she didn't think it was anything but that we could schedule a biopsy for another visit. Being a single, overwhelmed, working mother of three; I put it on the back burner for about a year and a half, until my family started nagging me because they felt the spot was getting larger. I called this office since it was close to my home and by chance ended up with Dr. Boswell. As soon as she got a good look at the spot, she believed it was basil cell carcinoma and proceeded to take the biopsy right there... which came back as basil cell carcinoma. Since then, I have had the surgery to have it removed and am continuing to go to the plastic surgeon to work on fading and thinning the scar. I feel that if I had gone to Dr. Boswell two years ago, my scar would be a fraction of what it is now. Although it hasn't been a pleasant experience overall, given the situation, I am very happy with Dr. Boswell's knowledge and prompt action. In a time that we seem to be a number when we have medical needs, I was relieved to have stumbled upon this doctor.”

“I was referred to Select Physical Therapy after seeing a back surgeon about pain in my lower back. He took x-rays and found that I have a degenerative disk in my back around my belt line resulting in a lot of stiffness in my lower back after sitting for long periods or sleeping. I was assigned to Monica Vasquez at Select Physical Therapy. She showed me many exercises for stretching my lower back and for strengthening my core. She said the key for avoiding back pain is was to strengthen the core muscles - abs and lower back muscles. She was very thorough in her treatment, always asking how I was doing when starting a session and after each exercise. She also massaged by back and stretched it when I came to a session in pain. She is so knowledgeable and very kind. Lastly, Select Physical provides each client an area on their website just for them, where the exercises they assign to you are posted. Each exercise is posted as a short video so you can refer back to it to see how the exercise is done. The website is accessible after your therapy has been completed. I highly recommend Select Physical Therapy.”
