Josh has waited on us the past 3 times and let me tell you he is the nicest waiter ever! He is so genuinely sweet and he truly cares about the people he waits on. Best service hands down. There is also another sweet woman working who has gorgeous red hair. I could not catch her name, but she makes people feel at home. “First time here and I actually enjoyed it. It felt like a cute little spot in the shopping center. They had a good selection of appetizers and they had gluten-free options for me. Bartenders were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the wine. It didn’t take me long to find a glass of white wine that I enjoyed. It was a Wednesday night when I went and they had live music. One piece of feedback I have is that the music was extremely loud and it made it very difficult to have any kind of conversation with my friend. The artist who was singing sounded so beautiful and I thoroughly enjoyed it and I wish it was a little bit quieter. The place is small enough to where the sound carries and I don’t think anywhere inside you would’ve been able to have a conversation. When I am back in the area I would happily come back and enjoy more of their appetizer and charcuterie options.”

“Passed this place on the way to a friends party. Never really heard anybody talk about it before so we decided to try it out. Really nice staff, clean place, warm and inviting. The food was excellent! I had the brisket and it was perfect. My wife and daughter had the pulled pork and ate every bite which is a compliment to the chef for sure. We all want to go back and try something different but it will be hard to pass up that brisket!”

“OMG! What a great place. Southern scratch cooking. Absolutely the BEST fried chicken I ever ate. Some of the best collards (simple recipe that brings out the flavor perfectly) and the lumpy mash and gravy were delicious, too. Meat lover's omelet and home fries (customize with onions, peppers, etc.) and the bacon were also fantastic. Coffee was good. Not burnt like a lot of places. Super friendly southern-style service. 7 miles off the interstate and well worth the detour.”

Definitely our favorite in Rock Hill if not at the top of the list. Many, many steps above take-out as far as quality of food goes (and I'm a pretty big fan of take-out Chinese food) . All of the food tastes freshly-prepared. The portions are generous and the staff is always friendly. Not terribly expensive for what you get. Favorites: General Tso's Chicken, Crispy Scallion Chicken, Peking Duck, Pu Pu Platter.”

“make sure to check your receipt I have been twice this week and both times they have overcharged me. the first time it was an elderly lady working the register and could not figure it out and charged me an extra $2 for something I didn't order. I ordered the mcpick 2 for 5 only to find out when checking my Bank record they charged me for both items separately and it cost me an extra $4!!Hands down, worst store In the McDonald's chain that I have ever visited. Besides typically being the slowest in the area, I'm completely appalled by the little pranks their staff pulls. Yesterday they forgot my 3 year olds nuggets in the happy meal we ordered so I simply called, told them what happened and was told to come back by the next chance I had to pick up a replacement happy meal. We went back today while we were out running errands and instead of receiving a replacement nugget we received a nugget box FULL OF TARTAR SAUCE. To say I'm irate is an understatement. No sincere apology for forgetting them in the first place - fine, I can move on with my day...but "trying to fix the situation" by giving my child a nugget box full of sauce is another. I will never go back to this location again. I've had it. This isn't the first time they've tried to be funny with orders, but it's the last time it'll happen to us. Hoping to speak to a GM about the matter.”

His knowledge of the menu was absolutely fantastic and did a great job of presenting the specials that the restaurant had to offer. My drink was never less than halfway empty as Ibo always came with refills. His recommendation of the Cajun pasta was spectacular. The dish was rich with all sorts of spices and flavors. The Cajun salmon was also to die for. I can honestly say that I've never had better seafood in my life and I grew up in the Charleston area. Also, one of the managers Eric talked to us about our food and he was extremely professional and nice. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a nice night out with their family or loved one.”

“Kay Mama is the reason we go, she is the best manager Ale House could ever have. She is energetic, funny and knows the menu inside and out. She is a tremendous asset to Carolina Ale House. She is balancing a lot with the shortage of cook staff and a crowd, she makes you want to stay and have fun while eating and having a drink.
