“We are fortunate to have Dr. Tem as my daughter's piano tutor. She looks forward to her lessons with him every week. We started about four months ago without knowing how it would go. I made my mind up that we will stick with lessons unless my daughter does not want it. She was getting only one session per week, and she was not doing that much with her piano home other than banging it. We were coming to lesson every week without practice, and I wondered if we were wasting time! Like many of her peers do, she ran around in the middle of her class from time to time. Meanwhile, Dr. Tem patiently keeps her five-year-old mind from wandering and keeps her engaged and curious to learn. He noticed that her seat at home was low; I purchased an adjustable seat instead of the one that came with the piano. Then, about a month ago, she started to practice at home, just by herself! There are times she sits for more than an hour without a break,~2 hours a day. Lately, she runs to her piano when she comes from school. She feels like playing the piano is a big part of her life, and if it continues, it is because we started with the right teacher.”

“Reliably delicious! We're a small group who has met for lunch every week for years and Penn Station was always a favorite once every few weeks. They have stayed open through the pandemic and recently we went back and ate inside for the first time since February 2020 and it was every bit as good as it ever was. Tip 1: Get the fries. They're always made fresh to order and you can taste the difference. Tip 2: Try an artichoke sandwich because OMG artichoke!”
