Granddaddys famous hot chicken

Fantastic place. The owners were so sweet and generous. I got the extra hot, and it was just that. It was beyond hot but so good. The family really liked the potato salad. This is the type of off-the-beaten-path, family owned business we love to support. Thank you!!

Stopped in today for the first time. I’ve tried a lot of hot chicken in Nashville and this was some of the best. Staff was super friendly as well. We will be back!

Nashville has plenty of hot chicken restaurants but this one is a hidden jewel! The flava with the heat and the sides are all AMAZING! Y'ALL NEED TO CHECK THIS PLACE OUT! SO GOOD!! #YUM

1st time here. Food was hot, fresh and very good. A new favorite place.

Unfortunately this was the only hot chicken I had on my last trip to Nashville, but it turned out to be the best I've had. I'm always on the hunt for good hot chicken on my visits to Tennessee, because up until recently the only "hot chicken" choice we had in NJ was KFC... notice the quotation marks.

I went with the hot tenders and the spicy fries, and both were great. Crispy, hot, and flavorful. I also tried some of the "Thinking Twice" heat level tenders and they were no joke - the heat definitely builds on you for a good 10 minutes.

I'll definitely be coming back next time I'm in town.
