“This is an incredibly beautiful place. It is on a peninsula into the reservoir with most sites having nice views. The roads are somewhat tight , but very doable. We never used the amenities so I cannot comment other than they look nice from the outside. The reason for 4 stars is due to noise. We like quiet camps and this location has too many people wanting to party. Also, there was a band at the marina which played until 11 pm. Even if there is no band at the camp or marina, many campers play their own music until curfew. The camps quiet hours are 11 pm to 8 am. We admit we are early to bed and early to rise. If you like music and noise until 11 pm, you would likely give this camp 5 stars. However, we cannot.”

“This was a pretty typical hotel — in a good way! The hotel did have a nice sitting area by the check-in desk which was large enough for people to gather and socialize. The heated pool, hot tub, and sauna were pleasant although on a busy Saturday they had trouble keeping the towel supply matched to the demand.”

“If you're looking for a unique retreat experience outside Nashville, Pomelo Grove is the answer. Staying here felt like staying in a boutique hotel, but in the center of a lush green natural setting. You get the fun escape of camping (pancakes made in a cast iron pan, s'mores around the campfire, walks in the woods, birds chirping, a gorgeous field) but with the comforts of a hotel (gorgeous colors and fabrics, a comfortable Queen-sized bed, fun snacks, a refrigerator, toilet). We stayed in one of the newest campers, the Flavedo. I liked that we could seat a bunch of people around the dining table to hang out. There is a separate bedroom with a door, which felt really nice. The outdoor shower was amazing! Great water pressure with warm water. My husband and I came with a group of friends, and we felt like we had our own personal country retreat. It was nice to be able to hang out together around the campfire or over dinner, and each have our own private spaces to sleep. I can't wait to come back!”

“Hourly rates are the perfect advertising to compliment the honeymoon cottage here. Mirrors lined the walls and ceiling and there where strips of led lights lining the largest one over the bed, flashing an almost alarming red and blue. It was meant to help set the mood but the color scheme surely frightened many of the residents. It reminded us that weed stayed in the dollar tree version of lovers lane. I enjoyed the bath salt of the earth feel. A real trip into the heartland that showed us true American Charms. Need to add sexy mood lights in all the rooms. I'd opt for a less frightening color scheme tho.”
