They had plenty of seating if you want to eat the food right there and the tables were all cleaned off nicely so you can tell the employees actually cared. The front counter was clean as well, the worker was actually wiping it and straightening it out when I walked up to it. The guy who took my order was extremely friendly. Will definitely return and try more of the menu.”

“Got The French. Place is very good. I would give a 4.5 on the wish there was more seasoning on the sauteed onions. The hotdog was fantastic, it's a very quality dog and was cooked to perfection. The onions were the perfect satueed consistency that you look for like I said just a little more S&P and would be straight fire. Was a nice sesame seed bun as well. They also have vegan options for dogs (soy based), cheese, and a portobello mushroom for the burger. This is always something I think is great for a business is cater to hit all targets.”

“I cannot Express enough how kind, professional and knowledgeable, Dr. Mc Collum and his staff are. I had extensive neuro-psychological testing with him and his team for disability. There was clearly no bias and no approach of judgmentalisim. I spent four hours at his office and the caring kindness was so reassuring. The lady who administered the testing put me at ease and was beyond skilled, objective and so very knowledgeable regarding the meaning of the results. Dr. Mc Collum was professional yet truly kind. His knowledge was profound.”

“Curry Boys was such a great find! We ordered the corn and brisket bowl and it was delicious! The curry was very flavorful and the brisket was super tender. The only thing that I think can be improved is the rice. They use a long grain rice, but basmati would probably work better. There is parking a short walk away, but there is only outdoor, bench seating. Will definitely be back to try their other dishes!”

“Great place! We went on a Friday afternoon and it was relatively quiet. The service was great and we loved the ambiance which was quirky and eclectic. We tried the black cherry margaritas and they were delicious! When we asked about the chili, our server offered to bring us a sample and it was excellent as well! No beans and a slow and steady heat from the spices. Cheese and onion added as an option but can be left off. Overall on the spicier end; if spice isn't your thing, you may not want to chance it, but we really enjoyed it. Everyone loved their meals and two of us even added a cup of chili based on our sample taste test. Our group ordered the Justin Platter (low carb option, see photo), patty melt (photo), cheeseburger and a BLT. All delicious and perfectly cooked. They have an amazing outdoor area that we look forward to trying when it's not 100°+. We'll definitely be back!”

Unfortunately this is quite common in my industry (health care) but my employer was quite resistant to paying me what I deserved. Enough alliteration, we really enjoyed the atmosphere, an eclectic mix of customers, great music, friendly staff and great food. Serious flavor slaps in the mouth and all vegan. Had the Bella fajitas, libre nachos and Juan's burrito with a side salad, beans, and corn. “3-14-20 They are an outdoor and indoor restaurant with the outside being dog friendly. They bring water for the dog using half a to-go container. You can also order a hamburger patty for your dog ($4.50 for 1/2 patty). The outside has cover from most direct sunlight. The outside bar has a few televisions. They do allow smoking at the bar. The wait wasn't to bad considering they were busy. Ordered stuffed burger (mushroom and cheese) and bean and cheese nachos. The burger was big and messy (not complaining) and came with handmade chips. The patty itself doesn't have much flavor but overall I was happy with the burger. The Nachos were good too. Would recommend to others to try for yourself. Will return if in this area again.”

“I've been teaching fly fishing here since 2012 and love the combination of tall shady trees and wide open spaces to teach my students but get some protection from the heat of the sun. The San Antonio River flows through here and you can do some fishing here. There is roomy for parties, a little bit of football or volleyball and you have BBQ pits and picnic benches around the park. A nice addition for the public that keeps the concept of open access available to everyone.”

“We had a really good time at the San Antonio zoo. It was busy on Sunday with so many people there. The lines were long and it was crowded. The animals look great and in good condition for the most part. The zoo itself is nice and organized. The food and drink can be really expensive, as expected. I recommend this zoo and we'll go back again. Fun time for families!”
