“This site is the only one I know of where I can read reviews written by my peers; other military members and their families. That matters a lot to me when I'm learning about a new area. Excellent resource!”

“By far THE BEST psychiatrist I have ever seen. My daughter has seen many psychiatrists and he is first to have truly helped her and to have turned things around for her. Thanks to Dr. Levin she is back in school and doing beautifully. Can not thank him enough!!”

“Well this store is now shared by Mom and Son. Family owned business with great eye for vintage, antiques, and jewelry. Trust me a must visit. The DS Concept kitchen ware and accessories are one of a kind art pieces, truly amazing. A must visit in my book even if just visiting!”

“Amazing staff that is very friendly and attentive. Corn fritters, tomatoes on toast, and fried chicken (best in San Antonio!) are all awesome. The New York Strip covered in delicious herb butter under sweet corn puree with amazing onion rings stole the show for me. A very solid value at $34, one could pay almost twice that at a steak house.”

“This was my first experience in a Yoga class and I LOVED IT! I was really nervous about being able to keep up, and whether I would like it or not, but all of those worries washed away. I went at my own pace, I was centered, and it was amazing. I left feeling like I had a good physical workout, revived, my back felt better, and I felt like my mind was clear. Stephanie is a wonderful instructor. I loved her small life lesson before class, and how she is able to assist in keeping your mind present. Just an amazing experience! I highly recommend it!”

“Awesome experience; can't recommend this place highly enough. If you like bra shopping, this is the place for you, and if you DON'T like bra shopping, this is really the place for you! The owner made me feel really comfortable immediately, and spent probably half an hour suggesting 10 or so different bras and checking how they worked on me, being super picky about getting the fit right. She was also great about suggesting things that were functional but also fun, and super receptive to what I was saying about what I wanted/didn't want. They can also special order different colors in each style, which is fun. Spent slightly more than I would have at a department store, but considering I got something comfortable that fits properly and looks great (a new experience!), I'm happy!”

“So many adorable shops but they close a little early so be mindful of that.”

“I stumbled upon a booth bursting with color and style. What had begun as an ordinary walk downtown suddenly became a personal journey. I had found myself on Sixth Street that day to take in the sights and smells of a fall festival and to my delight found myself immersed in art and culture. And when the brightly colored canvases on display in a small booth caught my eye, I had to stop. There greeting the passersby was a polite man with a woman working busily behind him. As I thumbed through a book he described to me to be "People" I was taken aback by the prose being presented to me through the medium of paint. The man went on to explain that the woman behind him working so very hard (she was obviously the artist behind the genius) was his wife and that she had a story to tell with every painting. As he explained some I decided to interpret others for myself. And what a rich, vibrant tale she was telling. My eyes finally rested on a gorgeous painting of Audrey Hepburn. At that moment the vibrant story unfolding became personal to me. As if the warm smell of kettle corn at a street fair had drawn me right to that booth. The painting was simple and elegant and the man seeing the excitement in my eyes explained that his wife had actually created the original painting with ketchup bottles instead of brushes. It had character and it was quirky. I hurriedly paid my dues and walked away with art that spoke directly to me. I admired the work the rest of my night as I sat and drank and laughed with fellow Hepburns.”

“Sweet artsy shops off the beaten path. The shop keepers were friendly and helpful. Fun visual experience. Have to try their cafe next time. Wasn't open when we went. Hope to see more art there.”

“We went there for lunch after church one day. I tried a little bit of everything (from everyone's plates). The breakfast was amazing and the cheesecake was the best I've had. I for sure recommend this place to anyone visiting or wanting some great breakfast food!!!”

“Their selection is great, their new management is very knowledgeable, their prices are very reasonable, and they offer classes if you're interested in learning something new! Great location as well; lovely environment. Would definitely recommend checking them out.”

“The owner Laura is amazing. I, Manuel A. Rodriguez III, am a retired Marine with a right lower leg amputation, and, as a result of imbalances, herniated my L4-L5 disk a few years ago. After attending classes and private lessons here for a few months I noticed a massive improvement in my back pain and overall increase in energy, especially after sessions. Laura has taken a great deal of her free time to work with me and work around my disabilities, and she is a genius in figuring out ways for me to be able to complete certain motions made very difficult by having a prosthetic lower right leg. I highly suggest anyone new to Pilates, and wants to learn about it, to go to Lone Star Pilates. Also, for other military veterans they offer a 10% discount.”
