It’s like an antique museum and the courtesy of the employees which are very polite and helpful, it makes me feel comfortable while checking the merchandise eating my 5 cents popcorn and 10 cents coke.
Been wearing SAS shoes for 25 years. Love it that they are made in USA! Shoe quality is tops. The factory outlet store is a combination of Old West and antique car show. We went on the factory tour this time. It's a very basic tour without anything fancy but it does leave an impression of the amount of labor that goes into a single pair of shoes. They could benefit with some professional marketing help to dress up the tour with some videography and other enhancements to better promote their story. It's awesome what they are doing but it could be presented better.
Very cool place! They have a great shoe selection, and they have some candy from back in my parent's day. I would bring anyone visiting San Antonio here or just a place to come for a relaxing shoe shop. None of the pressure you get at mall shoe stores, and the other shoppers are quiet.
Thank you SAS for always taking such great care of my mother. Your friendly staff is very attentive to my mother’s mobility needs and brings to shoes to her. We greatly appreciate you going above and beyond!
At first I didn’t know if this was a real shoe shop but I gave it a try. The ambience is so cool! It’s built like a traditional general store, very classic old western like. There are so many shoes! And they are made right here in San Antonio. Everyone in the store was very helpful. They even help you take your shoe off and put the new shoes on for you. Like I said, very old school. Every shoe that I put on was extremely comfortable. Lety was very knowledgeable on how each shoe was made. When I checked out at the register Joe was super friendly. It was my birthday so they gave me a discount. He even sang happy birthday to me in his Elvis impersonation. :) on the way out, Lety gave me a hug and a bag of popcorn for my birthday. Overall it was a wonderful experience!
