(September 3, 2021, 4:57 pm)Was suffering for about 8 weeks with a Kidney stone lodged into my Ureter and it wasn’t budging. Went to the ER because the pain was getting worse. That is when the stone was seen. I was referred to Urology SA by the ER. I called and they said they had an opening at the the Brooks City Base location with Dr Russell. I had to have a procedure done to remove it with a camera and laser. I will say this about Dr Russell. They have numerous locations around San Antonio and to see him I have to drive about 40 minutes. 100% worth the extra drive. Very friendly, professional and obliterated the stone that was lodged. The staff there are friendly as well.

(July 26, 2017, 8:04 pm)I have been a patient of Dr. Toban since 2015 for an overactive bladder associated with my Lupus. He is a fantastic Urologist who is extremely polite as he listens to your concerns and works to find the best path to ease your symptoms. I have even recommended him to a young lady who was having issues with her Urologist that kept cancelling on her.

His staff is polite and professional, as well. They make you feel welcome when you come in for your appointment, and I have never had a problem with getting an appointment.
I have absolutely no complaints concerning Dr. Toban or his staff. I am an immensely happy patient.
