I was driving all the way to Comfort, TX for a chiropractor before I learned of Dr. Shirley’s office and started bringing my son to him. My son dealt with some Digestive issues and Dr. Shirley could always get us in last minute to help relieve my son’s constipation. And he actually LISTENED to my concerns about my son’s developmental delays that our pediatrician at the time brushed off as typical development. My son was later diagnosed with a form of muscular dystrophy called Spinal Muscular Atrophy. I’m glad Dr. Shirley was one of the only professionals who validated my concerns. I’m glad I pushed the pediatrician and got a second opinion to get a referral so he could be diagnosed.”

“When I met Kevin Matthews at AOD I was in severe pain with my current orthotics that I have been using for 10 plus years. Kevin showed me the Texas Turbo and patiently explained the benefit that I would feel by going with this style brace. “I've been seeing Dr Trevino for almost 8 yrs. I love him and his staff. I've never had a billing issue. If anything I would find out, I overpaid and would get treatments on that credit balance for a good while. They love what they do and billing is a tricky thing. Insurance companies change allowances all the time and luckily they document and appeal and can get claims paid. Military dental insurance sucks and as a divorced, military spouse with the same insurance company, my policy as a civilian is a whole lot better for me and my fam. Too bad I'm moving out of TX. Would take them with me.”

“Going to the dentist is often viewed with apprehension and in some cases fear. Neither of those feelings ever crossed my mind in the 5 visits I've had in the last two months. Everyone is quick to greet you cordially and every interaction I had with the staff was a pleasant experience. I felt confident that I was being cared for and comfortable with the work being done. The location is easily accessible and extremely well kept. Cleanliness is a big make it or break it for a lot of people, and I was truly satisfied with the level of sanitation. Their ability to plan out treatment is flexible and explained thoroughly. They have great follow up and reminders to ensure you don't miss a visit. Dr. Trevino is very personable and does great work. This location will be my go to for as long as I remain in San Antonio.”
