“I’m about to end my lease at Salado and I have had a great experience. The management has been really great, and I’ve had little to no issues with maintenance or mechanical Issues in my unit. The garbage disposal was not working when I moved in and there were initially issues with roaches, but maintenance came and fixed/sprayed. Those were the only issues I had. (With roaches, complexes can do everything in their power to try and mitigate the issue but when you live in a large apartment complex with different people, who have different cleanliness levels, they can be unavoidable. I’d recommend investing in your own pest control options in addition to the complex’s, as it just happens with apartments sometimes, especially in South Texas. I used roach traps and bait tablets, never left food out and it helped drastically.) My favorite aspect of this community is the management, specifically Lucas. Lucas has been amazing since day one and I couldn’t ask for a better advocate. Thank you Salado and Lucas for making my stay great!”

“Finally got to try this place for breakfast. Definitely be prepared to wait. But if you have a yelp account you can reserve the wait time online. That helps so much because were able to leave when we only had about a 5 to 10 minute wait. I tried the green omelette that had white cheese and green salsa. It was really good and have a flavor. Also tried their biscuits and gravy which was really tasty and nothing will be brunch without cranberry mimosas. I would it was great and attentive also the apple cinnamon pancakes were good too. Mostly everything comes with a side of pancakes and you can get specialty pancakes for an extra charge. It’s a nice spot I would recommend and definitely will be back to try the jambalaya omelette.”

“I can say as someone who is a very Complicated Patient with Skeletal Deformities and CO-Morbidities including Painful Rare Diseases, I have and have had multiple Medical Providers. I fully understand Clinical as well as Surgical Settings. Tom is the very first Medical Care Provider who truly Cares about me and my conditions. I have a Spine in the shape of an "S" and have Foot Drop due to Autonomic Nerve Damage. His knowledge Not just in The MuscoSkelatal System but has great Medical knowledge and understanding. I really have NOT been Ambulatory for a good 16 years. Have Mobility Chair, use a Walker and a cane. I am no longer a Surgical candidate. Thus, my Skeletal System has worsened to such that has caused me to be not independently Ambulatory. I am in my early 60s and want the ability to get just 5 more independent Functional years. I was examined in detail with both issues and he is so experienced that he knew exactly what bracing I needed. So I set up the follow up Appt. However, many issues had occurred personally and medically which delayed my follow up with him. I was resetting Appts and TWICE, he offered to Drive 60 miles to my home to bring me my brace. I was shocked! Not just once but twice. I still was unable to take him up on his great generous offer. After 5 months, I finally made it into his office. He is soo friendly but when with you, he is Focused and ONLY ON YOU AND YOUR CONDITIONS. I CANNOT COUNT AT ALL with all the Specialists and Surgeon's I have and have had who was so generous and concerned knowing how badly I needed bracing. He was with me all the way into trying to improve my quality of Life. He will actually phone you. You almost can NEVER get a Physician to directly call or return calls anymore. I highly recommend anyone with Deformity or amputee to consult with no one but Thomas Darm in the San Antonio as well surrounding Hill Country area. ❤️”
