After, asking questions and examining me, I was sent for a CT scan. After getting my CT scan I was told to sit out in the waiting room so that they could make sure that it came out okay. Not even five minutes of waiting to hear back from the technician, Dr. Malarcher called me herself. She informed me that I had a bi-lateral pulmonary embolism (PE) and that I was to go to the emergency room immediately. She called the hospital to inform them that I would be coming. There in the hospital, they then did more testing and I was then diagnosed with not only a bi-lateral PE, but a DVT in my leg as well. I was in the hospital for a few days. I can’t thank Dr. Malarcher enough.”
