“One of those places that you happen to stumble upon and it impresses you more than you thought it would. We went during lunch time and it was decently busy, but not overwhelming. We were greeted and found ourselves our own seats but the waitress got to us pretty quick. Their lunch menu is a bit confusing because I haven’t had too much Mexican food to know what was listed, but the waitress explained what I needed to know. The prices are pretty decent, especially for the amount of food they give you! I was a bit overwhelmed because I knew I wasn’t going to be able to finish it all but it was definitely worth it. I ordered the puffy tacos and it came with an extra side of tortillas for my rice and beans. The flavoring was perfect and the portions couldn’t be beat for the price. They even gave us some nachos and salsa to start off with. I’d definitely recommended this place for any type of dining, whether it be breakfast, lunch, or a really early dinner. Unfortunately they close early but it’s worth it to try it out at least once.”

“First time I ordered here the food was so flavorful and tasty. Kinda drowned in a lot of juice but I didn’t mind since it had all the flavor. The egg rolls are amazing! Second time I ordered I got the exact same thing, and it was like someone was too scared marinate the food! How did it go from being over the top juicy to almost dry? Whatever... it was still eatable but definitely lacked the flavor from the first time. Nice place just wish they were consistent.”

“When visiting The Beignet Stand, a very unassuming trailer awaited when we first pulled up. The menu comprises of 3 items, but 3 items that provide a fine example of quality over quantity. The beignets served in both my chicken and beignets and my wife’s beignets dish were consistently brilliant. The chicken served had a brittle yet moist batter covering it that fooled this Brit into thinking it was a beer batter, and a generously sized piece of chicken that was tender and juicy. On top of that my dish had a generous amount of powdered sugar and accompanied with a sauce that complimented the whole dish. This place is very moderately priced and has a personal touch when it comes to service. Simply put this little trailer made my day as did the gentleman working it. Highly recommended and worth checking out!”

“The best pizza in San Antonio, hands down. I am from Northern NJ and am used to great pizza. Sadly, down here I have had good, and very good, but not great. Until today. The crust is thin and chewy with just the right amount of sauce and cheese. I got a cheese slice and a buffalo chicken slice. Both were equally delicious. Danny who I spoke with is gregarious and a fun person to talk to. He makes you feel like family. I briefly met Cam (sp) the owner. He too was equally as nice. I have found my go to pizza spot. My only complaint is that it is directly across the street from my gym. This is going to be make it hard not to stop in on a regular basis. If there are any NY/NJ transplants here, check this place out-you will not be disappointed. I am in no way affiliated with the owner or anyone here. I just thought it was that good that I had to write a review.”

“We've been going to Ramona's # 2 for quite a few years and have never been disappointed. The staff are very friendly and make you feel very welcome. The food and prices are great.I've tried most of the plates and have enjoyed them all. If you want an excellent meal for 2, try the parriada.
