“Family owned and food quality is extremely consistent every single time I go. I get the mixed meat platter which comes with the best tasting rice in town. I usually go crazy on the menu but the owners son reminds me that the plate is huge and perhaps I should trade a rice plate out for Arabic bread. I also recommend the yogurt with cucumbers as a add-on. Out of this plate I would say 65% went home with me in a to-go bag. My son loves the atmosphere here and it’s truly the hidden jewel of San Antonio.”

“Went for lunch today I called ahead and order the chili relleno special which is only made on Wednesdays. One of my personal favorite it was excellent as usual the food was hot and fresh made as soon as I walked in they bought it right to the table definitely VIP treatment if you're in a hurry at lunch just call ahead they'll have your order ready your table ready just walk right in and start eating. Loved it and will continue to return.”
