“Spectacular facility! Really well done, great array of maps and information in the congregation area. They’ve even included a water bottle filler in conjunction with the drinking fountains. The walkway is concrete, very wide and accommodating. Once all of the vegetation has had a chance to regrow it will be an absolutely amazing trail. Clearly lots of wildlife, plenty of deer and we even saw a snake. Very much looking forward to continued extension of the greenway north of 1604 all the way to the Rim ultimately.”

“My mother recently fell ill and needed to move into an assisted living facility. I was lucky enough to have some clients that already had their father staying at Shavano Park. We moved in over 7 months ago and the care and service from the Executive director Jack , head nurse Lindsey, and all the staff has been amazing. The restaurant is world class. My mother loves to go to lunch and dinner to meet with her friends each day. Her room is always clean clean and organized. Jack and Lindsey are always available for consultation. I am a very demanding customer. I care deeply about my mother. I am so glad I found this place. I highly recommend you speak with Jack prior to choosing any place for your loved ones. They have taken great care of my mother and allowed me to relax a bit. I know they have my mom's best interests at heart. Nothing is ever going to go completely perfect . The key is do the people react to the situation and resolve the issue. Jack and Lindsey are those type of people. I am not a big review writer, yet I feel so strongly about how great Shavano Park is I want everyone else who may be considering an assisted living facility for their parents to know Shavano Park is top notch. “My mother lived at Bader House after she could no longer live in assisted living. I was very pleased with her care and that she was loved unconditionally by everyone at Bader House. At times my mother could be very difficult to deal with because of dementia. Lydia, Maxi and the staff at Bader House would always find ways to calm her down and help her to have a good day. My mother was given excellent care whether we were in town or out of town. I never worried about her care. My mother was a retired nurse and Lydia told me a loving story about their relationship. My mother thought that she and Lydia had worked together before. Lydia has a way of building relationships with the residents and their families. One day my mother rounded the corner and Lydia was getting ready to give out medications for the evening. She could tell that my mother was on a mission by the expression on her face. When she approached Lydia, she asked her if she was supposed to give meds that evening or take vitals. Lydia with a calm and loving voice told her that it was her turn to give out meds and that she would love it if my mom would assist with the vitals. This is just one of many examples of where my mother was given something to do for others. The important thing that I believe my mother experienced the most at Bader House was the word, "Yes". Not no you can't go outside because of the weather instead they would redirect her to walk with them around on the inside. She was kept safe and was happy. Many times, she was given one on one foot massages by one of the staff or Lydia. Dementia is a terrible disease that is difficult to live with for the person that has it as well as the caregivers. Bader House made this journey more bearable with all of their love and support for my mother and my husband and me. Bader House will always have a special place in our hearts.”

“I absolutely love Dr. Young and his staff. And now the new office is amazing. Very comfortable. If you’ve been to the old office off Stone Oak, you’re in for a surprise at the new location. It’s gorgeous. I’ve been a patient of Dr Young’s since 2009. You don’t find staff like his just anywhere either. Always fun and you feel like they’re friends. I feel they have my best interest in mind and therefore I trust them. I’ve been doing the cool sculpting lately with Kristi e and I love it. I’ve done my chin and now I’m doing my thighs. It’s not been the right amount of time to see full results from the chin but I think I’m seeing a nice difference already. So do those that know me. I’ll update this review when I have full results from my chin to my things. And anything else in between. Dr Young recently did a lift and a remove and replace my first implants. I’m a cancer patient that had It in my face so I’ve lost so much confidence and I look a little scary where they cut it out of my eye and nose. But I’m alive. And everyone here at @Dr. Young Forever is giving me confidence and are coming up with solutions to help me feel more like myself and Comfortable in my own skin. Thank you everyone!”
