“The employee at the self-checkout station was very kind to my daughter. My daughter was checking out and her total was 70 cents more than she had. When my daughter told the employee, who's name is Rosetta, that she needed to go put something back Rosetta kindly pulled a dollar from her own wallet and gave it to my daughter to cover the remaining balance. When I met back up with my daughter afterwards she told me what had happened. I found Rosetta to thank her and attempted to pay her back but she did not want repayment and instead said, "It's just a blessing to bless others." “Great place! We went on a Friday afternoon and it was relatively quiet. The service was great and we loved the ambiance which was quirky and eclectic. We tried the black cherry margaritas and they were delicious! When we asked about the chili, our server offered to bring us a sample and it was excellent as well! No beans and a slow and steady heat from the spices. Cheese and onion added as an option but can be left off. Overall on the spicier end; if spice isn't your thing, you may not want to chance it, but we really enjoyed it. Everyone loved their meals and two of us even added a cup of chili based on our sample taste test. Our group ordered the Justin Platter (low carb option, see photo), patty melt (photo), cheeseburger and a BLT. All delicious and perfectly cooked. They have an amazing outdoor area that we look forward to trying when it's not 100°+. We'll definitely be back!”

“It was Saturday April 9,2016, i was on the hunt for a salon. My hair looked like crap i desperately needed a hair cut. Had not found a hair stylist to cut my naturally curly hair in the year and half in San Antonio. The first salon i walked into did not send out the vibe needed to trust them. I turned around and left. Driving down Huebner i saw the Designer Hair Studio sign. As soon as I walked in and Rudy came up to assist me I knew I was in the right place. In had no problem waiting the 30 minutes he said it would be. He gave me the best hair cut I've had in years. I know longer have to resort to cutting my own hair while looking for a stylist. I'm so ready to go back for another hair cut. I'll not so patiently wait a few more weeks. Oh did i mention Rudy 's an excellent conversationalist?
