“After searching for a lamp repair shop, I came upon St. James Lamps. I located them on the Internet They are located on NW Military Drive, not too far from where I live. In a nutshell, they surpassed my expectations! They were friendly and professional, and detail-oriented. They covered the bases when explaining the options, how long it would take for the repair, etc. They completely re-wired my old kitchen hanging lamp, and did a wonderful job of sorting out the complicated wiring, not an easy job! Even though they ran into extra charges due to the bad wiring the lamp had, they still finished the repair in less time than promised. Nicole, the nice lady in charge and her staff were all friendly and helpful. We also picked out a nice glass topper for a lamp that my wife found in a thrift store, and it was perfect. We're really happy for the service we received and we highly recommend this shop if you're looking for a competent lamp repair place, and they offer other things as repair.”

“Family owned and food quality is extremely consistent every single time I go. I get the mixed meat platter which comes with the best tasting rice in town. I usually go crazy on the menu but the owners son reminds me that the plate is huge and perhaps I should trade a rice plate out for Arabic bread. I also recommend the yogurt with cucumbers as a add-on. Out of this plate I would say 65% went home with me in a to-go bag. My son loves the atmosphere here and it’s truly the hidden jewel of San Antonio.”
