We LOVE the care we’ve received from ROCC. My son had a psychological evaluation a couple years ago with Dr. Kelleigh Head and then started seeing Dr. Emily Courtney for counseling shortly thereafter.
My adolescent son took to both of them incredibly well and they are both so knowledgeable and kind!
We took a break from counseling during COVID, as my son was doing well. Unfortunately, he went through a traumatic event earlier this year and I reached out Dr. Courtney and Dr. Head who responded immediately, even though we hadn’t seen them in nearly a year! My son was given the choice of seeing a counselor recommended by an advocacy center or to continue seeing Dr. Courtney. I couldn’t even finish asking him the question before he interrupted and said “DR. COURTNEY!!!” The professional relationship that she’s built with him is amazing and between her personality and office environment, we are both at ease during our appointments. It almost feels as if we’re going to visit a family friend instead of a doctor’s appointment!
I have learned so much from her and it has allowed me to parent more effectively and lovingly and improving the relationship between my son and I. As a mother, I couldn’t ask for more.
