I was in so much pain I just googled dentist close to me and found Radiant Smiles, made an appt and they got me in quickly. “I LOVE this doctor. She listens and then she gives you options for your care. She refers to doctors she would use for her family. And when I needed a cardiologist a couple of years ago to establish a relationship for the rest of my life, she chose the person she wanted for her own father. She takes her time and never rushes you in and out of an appointment. Remember to schedule a solid hour, as she will sit and talk to you to get your health plan put in place. The only reason I have not given her a 5 star rating is because she does not come to visit you at the hospital. In 2021 I was in the hospital and then rehab many times dealing with COVID, then complications and then Long Haul COVID. I would have loved to see her just once during may 7 visits within 5 months. However my care was handled by the Infectious Disease specialist. so she did not need to visit me. She knew I was in the hospital because I called her to tell her and so did my husband. She let the specialists do their jobs. I would just have loved to see her or get a call from her, but she did not do that. If you want an excellent doctor who works with Geriatric patients, she is the best. She works with UT Southwestern to stay up on the latest procedures and concerns. It makes a difference. I had a doctor who put me on Metformin because my A1C was 6.5 and stayed there even with diet changes. When I changed to Dr. Blessing, she immediately took me off of that as it was not necessary!! The protocols change as you age and my previous doctor treated me like I was still in my 50's not in my 70's. She is a Godsend. I love her and will never change doctors again as she is one of the best in Dallas.”

“I've been going to Dr. Knapp for almost a year, for multiple issues. I also took my son there. This is the best, most professional, most personable doctor and office staff that I have been to. There's never more than a few minutes wait, either in the waiting room or in an exam room. When Dr. Knapp's in the room with me I know that I'm the most important thing on his mind then. He is never trying to rush to get out of the room, or has his mind on other things. He takes time to explain things in a clear way. He also checks many possibilities to identify the root cause of issues. They have diagnostic tools like x-rays and MRI machine in the office which is convenient. In some cases, such as with my son's ingrown toenails, they operated on the first visit -- it was great to just get it fixed.”

It would be good if they would send me the paperwork ahead of time to fill out. Pros: The doctor took his time to evaluate me and understand my concerns. “Dr Mohapatra is a wonderful doctor. I have a very complicated medical history and I had always considered her to be overly cautious…which, while annoying at times, I appreciated. Recently I got pneumonia, dehydration, and Rhabdomyolysis. She’s had me in her office to check bloodwork and other things 3 times in 4 days and to the Urgent Care to get tests done that she didn’t have the capability to do to determine if I should go to the ER. She called me at home twice in one day to check on me (because she was worried about me). Doctors don’t do this anymore. NO ONE does this level of professionalism anymore. I’ve decided her “overly cautious” is actually an “over and above” type of care. Thank you Dr Mohapatra, I sincerely appreciate you!”
