“My initial reason for going to see Dr. Krystal was because I have been suffering the past few years with Migraines. This particular week they had been the worse, and grew more intense. I don’t have insurance and her business popped up on my Facebook and after reading the reviews I decided to give it a try. This was a life changing decision for me!! It’s one of the best decisions I have ever made. This is NOT your place if you aren’t trying to digest everything that Dr. Krystal offers!! It’s not just an appointment, it is an experience that becomes a LIFESTYLE!! She’s very informative, thorough, transparent, and bluntly honest! If you’re not ready to see or hear the truth about your body and the healing process then she is not for you!! Her professional manner is top notch, but she interacts with you on a personal level! She doesn’t make you feel like your “just a patient”. Dr. Krystal accomplished a task that I thought would NEVER be able to happen; and that is taking the time to make my five year old feel comfortable enough and to help her feel safe enough to receive her adjustments!! The first visit was not a success for her, but on the second visit my daughter literally ran into Dr. Krystals arms!! This has never been achieved by ANY Doctor!! There is so much more that is offered here at this practice besides chiropractic healing!! You are welcomed warmly with her staff Amber and Alexis!! They go above and beyond to make sure you and your children are comfortable here!! This is a family friendly practice and she even takes care of my children’s healing needs as well!! We also love Dr. Z who works alongside of Dr. Krystal. Dr. Z is very attentive and she takes her time to get to know your needs and concerns. She is also great about explaining the adjustment process and answers all your questions!! Dr. Z is always smiling and she is personable just like Dr. Krystal!! We love them both!! I have not had any migraines or headaches since coming here, I took myself off of Claritin for allergies, and my overall body function is so much better that I actually want to be active again. “This a long review, but I can't say enough good things about this place. This is a summary of what I've gone through so far with this gym: 1. Culture - The family-type atmosphere here is mellow and everyone roots for one another. There is no weight-shaming in this gym, there is only sustain good form, grow your strength and endurance, and support each other. Age range here is ~15 to ~70 years old, so there is no excuse not to give this gym a shot. 2. Warm up - Every day, a warm up consists of a #RememberTheFallen soldier. We honor who they were, where they were from, and what they did to serve our country. 3. WOD (workout of day) - strength training + cardio = a challenge for you to push yourself. Darrel provides a challenging WOD everyday and gives you the opportunity to set the effort bar where you want it. If someone’s form is not correct, he will come up to you mid workout and provide some quiet guidance where he deems necessary. As they say on their website, “Workouts can be adapted to anyone, any fitness level, and any physical condition.” 4. Nutrition - Suzi is the nutrition and accountability coach. She provides a macro-nutrient approach to eating that anyone can adapt their eating habits to, since it is a non-restrictive nutrition program. Eat what you want, when you want, and track it. I’ll admit, for the first two weeks, my wife and I had a rough time figuring out how to make meals that fit our daily numbers so we could reach our long term goals, but once we got the hang of it, we haven’t looked back. Sometimes, we’ll eat the same meal, but most meals, we choose to eat differently since our eating habits are different. As soon as we chose to discipline ourselves to become familiar and trust the process of cooking and eating foods aligned with the macro-nutrient approach, inches began melting off our waists and muscle began to grow. 5. My wife and I workout at Checkpoint CrossFit at least 4-6 days per week because we have decided to invest in the health of our minds and bodies. Obviously, we want six pack abs and toned beach bodies, but we also want to set a healthy example for our children to look up to. Of course, we're not perfect. We have missed workouts occasionally and had some cheat meals, but overall, this gym provides 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration. “This store is right across the street from my house and I am a frequent here. I’m not usually a fan of overpriced items and the attitudes I typically deal with in Walgreens/CVS stores... but with that said, this location is a MAJOR exception. Everyone here is so courteous and friendly. One time recently at this store I left my sons Ice Cream on the counter after checkout (along with many other items) and went home and forgot about it... the next time in the store a man named Kevin came up to me and said “did you happen to leave your ice cream here the other day?” (I had to rack my brain and then said “oh yeah, I did!”) he went to the back cooler and got them for me and they had my name on it! Sometimes I call ahead and they cool down champagne in their cooler for my wife and I before we arrive. David, their store manager, is an amazing gentlemen as well and treats his whole staff with respect and understanding. I have seen it first hand! I could go on for days about this place but I think this is enough said! Great location!!!!!”
