Ever since the first visit, he would patiently listen to any concerns I had and would also make sure that the care I received would be thorough and accurate (either directly from him or from other doctors he personally trusts). I never felt rushed, and he would actually take time to explain and answer any questions I had. I have never had a regular doctor until now, and I will continue to go to him for any check-ups or consultations. In addition, the nurse I happened to interact with the last couple times is nothing but kind as well. I will have to update this when I catch her name the next time.”

“The Triage4Pediatrics booth was both interesting and inviting as I strolled by the buffet line. Interesting because I noticed all 4 associates were females, which I stronly support female run businesses, and inviting because their “free pens” were by far the highest quality of the entire conference. I apporached the booth too compliment the team on their “free pen” quality, and something quite unexpected occurred. The owner of the company, Julie Ortiz approached me with the absolute most inviting and charming disposition I had received from any attending company. Her southern charm mixed with her natural feistiness enveloped me. I immediately called upon my associate, who owns several offices in Miami, to listen to Julie’s pitch. Over the following 30 minutes, nothing but the moat excellent and impressionable sales pitch I’ve ever heard occurred. Julie was able to engage all of us, calm our inhibitions, clearly respond to questions and concerns, but above all, leave us with the most distinct understanding and impression of southern charm. I would wholly recommend Julie’s services, not because I am aware of them or use them, but because I have seen and understood the essence of her company and what she is about based solely on my conversation with her. “My dad moved into the Heritage at Twin Creeks in April 2019 around the same time that Paula West-Hicks became the Executive Director of the facility. Paula has been an advocate for my dad since he moved in and I think she's done a fabulous job dealing with the Covid-19 restrictions regarding visitations. Paula and Suzie Powell ( Social Director) came up with a creative idea of how we could visit our loved ones in front of the building and not risk infection. My dad was on the enclosed patio behind a stone wall, and I could visit him from the other side of the stone wall. I can book a one hour visitation time. Paula has kept all residents safe from Covid-19. These visitations are so important to me to be able to see my dad during these quarantined times! The executive staff and the Med Techs will make sure your loved one is well taken care of at the Heritage! Hopefully in the near future we can get back to visitations inside the building and the fun social events that Suzie plans for the residents every week!”

“Dr. Jan is the premier neurologist for children with cerebral palsy. During each visit, she and her staff are detailed and thorough, addressing every possible issue that could affect your child (from head to toe). She helps address and remove any barriers, in order for each child to live their best life. She is knowledgeable and experienced about cerebral palsy, in all facets, beyond any other physician we have ever come across. The atmosphere at 1CP Place is child-friendly, and the staff is always happy, kind, and empathetic. The office is completely wheelchair accessible - even the bathroom! In order to have a great experience with 1CP Place, you must be willing to fill out all of the necessary comprehensive paperwork prior to your visit. Dr. Jan reviews each detail prior to the visit in order to gain a holistic view of your child. With this information, she is knowledgeable about your child prior to the visit, asks great questions, thinks "outside the box", and helps eliminate any perceived barriers that parents may be struggling with. Bring snacks and activities for children because Dr. Jan spends as much time as necessary (sometimes up to 3 hours), understanding each child's condition, needs, and goals. The visit begins in a large, open room, where they videotape all gross and fine-motor activities that your child is able to do, recording gains or losses in progress, and addressing all options to get them on track to live their best life. Then, the visit moves to a smaller exam room, where Dr. Jan thoroughly examines your child, and continues to provide instructions about each aspect of your child's wellness. After every visit, parents leave with a detailed list of recommendations, outlining every topic that was discussed (and every decision that was made) during the visit. There are no questions left unanswered. The staff is also easily accessible by phone and through the patient portal. “I just finished my 4 weeks of foundations and I love it! I had never done anything like CrossFit before and was definitely scared to try this but I’m so glad I did it. The coaches are really great, they make sure you’re doing everything correctly and aren’t gonna hurt yourself which was really important to me. And the community is awesome too. I thought everyone was going to be intimidating but even on my very first day so many people introduced themselves to me, and I’ve had a lot of fun at some of the community events! The workouts have definitely been challenging and there were points I thought I wouldn’t finish the workout but with the coaches and everyone there I always have and the feeling after is amazing, I’ve really surprised myself with what I’ve been able to do.”
