Bobwhite Park

Address: 11711 Henderson Dr, Frisco, TX 75035, USA

Park

“A very nice and quiet community park located near Panther Creek. It’s not too big not too small but has a good and peaceful vibe to it. The park has few mobile trash bins and right at the center is a lovely spot with few benches and many trees. It also has drinking fountain at the center. Good spot for a walk, run, baseball or just to relax! There’s good space for kids to run around and play. It also has couple of baseball cages. You get a nice sunset view here with the dusk colors showing up really well. Once it’s dark, it’s better to get home because there isn’t much light around. The ground looks even but there are some uneven spots/holes around, so you need to be careful. There’s no designated parking spaces and you’ll have to park beside the road except for a small spot at the entrance to the park.”

Harold Bacchus Community Park

Address: 13995 Main St, Frisco, TX 75034, USA

Park

“Lovely park! There are many open grounds with small ponds around the park. Really good for walking or running too! There are a few closer batting cages and some are used for cricket as well in addition to baseball and softball. The open fields are used for soccer practice too! There is a lot of parking space, which is really nice. Overall, good place to spend time walking around and exploring.”

Lots of fishing spots and a tranquil waterfall that tends to make you want to sit for a spell and relax. Very well worth walking the trail or riding your bike!”

Heritage Park

Address: 1230 Aylesbury Dr, Allen, TX 75002, USA

Park

“Exploring: Heritage Park (green playground) 1230 Aylesbury Dr Allen, TX 7500 I really like this community playground. Whoever designed it in mind must be a gardener because it’s one of those few parks with playground that emphasis on integrating a flower garden around the playground which makes it a nice place for mini photoshoots. Pros: Nice place for photoshoots Beautiful landscaping / flower garden Adequate shade for picnic on the lawn 5-ft walking trail Large gazebo Clean Cons: no restroom no BBQ grill”

East Fork Trail Head -- Trinity Trail

“The beginning of the trail goes to the left along the fence. It took us too long to figure that out. Ample parking for horse trailers at the trail head with the camp ground also close to this location. Bathrooms available as well. Sections of the trail could be muddy after rain, so be prepared. We only did a small portion of the trail and there were several access points to the lake for fishing.”

A. Hardy Eubanks Jr. Park

“This park is a hidden gem. It has a 3 story slide, multiple slides, swings which are covered. There is a pavilion, walking trail and an open area to play team games. Only downside is there is not really a proper parking especially during school hours and no restrooms.”

Old Celina Park

“The first time we visited was for a fall festival last October. It was hosted by a local church and they brought in a train ride, games, petting zoo, food, drinks and more for free. It was a great little event and the fire department brought an engine out and let kids get in for pictures as well. Hope they do it again this year! It was a lot of fun! The playground is very well made with lots to do and very clean. The bathrooms are also pretty clean as well. Will return many times in the future!”

Natural Springs Park

“Nice clean park! It’s quiet and has a pond. There are lots of nice pathways through nature. One of my favorite picnic places. Also great venue for photography. We had lots of options for backgrounds and I’m happy we choose this spot to do them”

Buckhorn Park

Address: 3601 Mission Ridge Rd, Plano, TX 75023, USA

Park

“My kids really enjoyed this park. They have small, medium and large playground equipment for kids of all sizes. Two of the playgrounds are shaded, along with several picnic tables. The largest playground does not have shade as it's really tall. They could use a couple benches by the largest playground however there is a small shaded Pavillion nearby. The playground equipment was well maintained and modern. There is a large field to play in. No bathrooms. Parking was difficult. I never found a parking lot for the park and ended up parking on the street. The park is right by a school, so if you don't like large crowds, don't go when school lets out.”

Bethany Lakes Park

Address: 745 S Allen Heights Dr, Allen, TX 75002, USA

Park

“We've been going to Bethany lakes park as long as we've lived here in Allen, which has been about 28 years. Bags are always kept available for when I walk my dog around the lake and trash cans are kept readily available for depositing trash into. I have found watching and listening to the ducks at the lake to be very relaxing. Benches and tables are out to sit at and enjoy your visit along with, if you deaire, a picnic at the park.”
