“My family really enjoys visiting this park every time. Plenty of play options for the various aged children. It would be five stars if they ditched the wood chips for the latest soft ground surface found in newer parks.”

“My friend and I took her two children to this park and we were the only people there and we had stopped and picked up pizza and drinks and had a wonderful picnic experience with the boys. The background in my pic is a little picture of the variety of slides they offer. There are more slides and they have a set of swings. They also have a water fountain for the thirsty children that will define try get hot and sweaty. Where we ate lunch was under a shaded area with plenty of sitting areas for a number of families.”

“Nice park with a playground for younger children (around 2-7 years old). Shaded seating and picnic area. Also has a basketball court and backstop for baseball, softball, kickball or other such games. There is dedicated street parking, and the side nearest Parkwood is fenced off. There is a water fountain, but it did not work when we were there last, so be sure to pack your own refreshments, just in case.”

“This is just a trail head so no amenities. Beautiful trails, a small bridge and super small observation deck. There was a huge family of crows who hung out with us at the deck. Very peaceful and trails are well marked. Being plenty of water and bug spray!”

“Erwin Park is a great place to mountain bike. The trail is about 10 miles long. They've added some new features like some new jumps which are fun. There are areas through the forests and areas in the Open Fields. Right now the trail is in great condition. There are not too many people there so you don't have to worry about passing or being passed all the time. Like North Shore. It's a lot of fun and I like to go there. It's got some steep stuff and Ruff stuff and it's an all-around great Trail.”

“My favorite place to walk. It's beautiful. And feels like home. The best dog park in the world is here, on the beach looking at the Olympic mountain range. Not to shabby. I highly recommend for a picnic, a walk, or just chilling like a villain. Watching the sunset here is pretty spectacular as well.”

“It's a nice little park in the suburban area. For most parks it's small but it has exercise equipment that isn't rusted or broken down. It's a nice place for families or just those who just want to sit down and just enjoy the park.”

Haven't opened up the Gazebo yet but I'm looking forward to it. I love that they sell replacement parts and the customer service has always been good.”

“We are loving our stay here at Barrington Hills RV Resort. The park is quiet and SO CLEAN. The residents and all the staff are so friendly. They have a heated pool and a big clubhouse. The laundry room and shower rooms are also clean and everything is in great working order. The staff threw a Christmas party for all the kids today. Santa made an appearance, they had food, crafts and even presents and stockings for each child. This is a wonderful park with friendly people and it’s safe and fun for families. 5/5!”

“I love the picnic area right on the water. There are little tables with roofs above which make the perfect spot for a quick BBQ (I have a portable bbq grill). After the food, I will put up my hammock and enjoy the omnipresent breeze while watching people fishing. One of my favorite parks in the vicinity.”
