“Dream Away Cabin is a slice of heaven on Earth! The cabin itself is beautifully decorated. The moment you come in, it gives you that feeling of comfort where you’d say “I need to be here for awhile.” It is like that respite you have been needing is finally here! The bedsheets are so soft and comfy like a 5-star hotel beddings. You don’t want to get out of bed, but you also don’t want to miss out on the outside fun. My family and I enjoyed feeding the mob of deer daily and gazing at the stars at night. The fire pit and the hammock outside are a perfect addition too. We loved the patio area as well where we dined with family. We left with so many wonderful memories at the cabin. An added bonus, it is a walking distance from the lake. “Just wanna post an actual legit review in addition to all the Karen’s and Kevins giving bad reviews.. This place is nice. It’s not your River Oaks campsite, but Marc is nothing but hospitable and welcoming. We tent camped right next to the river access, zero issues. We had our family of 5, + 2 dogs and the rate was more than reasonable unlike other spots. Yes there are permanent tenants there, but they were just as nice and welcoming to us temps. The site had many water and electric hookups for our tents, and the restrooms were just a few steps away. Perfect location between the river and the lake. We will absolutely be back!!”

“Great hospitality! Justin was very friendly. He was very welcoming and the home was very clean and inviting. The view from our room was beautiful. Justin gave my husband and I lots of ideas for great things to do in the area. He made delicious breakfast each morning and tidied up the room during the day. Great location with lots to do. We look forward to being able to go back soon for another mini vacation. Highly recommend for a romantic couples getaway.”

“Lazy H Lodge is simply the perfect stay. We just left after a week's stay and cannot speak highly enough of this property. We had come in for a wedding and had family from around the country fly in to stay as well. It was perfectly located between Austin and San Antonio, allowing for everyone to make the best airline choice for them. In hill country and near canyon lake, the location was perfect. The house itself exceeded all expectations. Open, comfortable, designed to bring people together. The kitchen was very well equipped, beds comfy and plenty of linens. The hosts, Rex and Kathy, were tremendous and went out of their way to make our stay exceptional. We can't wait to visit again.”

“It's a time share so you're not checking in without a little pressure...but it ends there (unless you take the bribe and presentation). Very nice units on the backside across the street from main compound. From my back patio, 30 feet across grass to the nice pool/hot tub one way and 30 ft another to grill and picnic table or another to playground. Each day we saw more bugs...mostly in the kitchen...but we bought a can of spray and stayed on top of it. Great spa tub in the bedroom. Great size dining/living area, full kitchen. Parking and trash containers in front of condo. Nice little town, super market JUST up the road, plenty of good eateries. Game room and Grille on site. Good area for Pokemon Go :)”

“My wife and I enjoyed a weekend getaway there and had a great stay. We enjoyed hanging out on the back patio and wading in the river. In the evening we took a short walk to a local venue for a Willie Nelson concert. The next day I was up early fly fishing and caught a monster trout. Only downside was the weekend wasn't long enough. We will be back!”
