“My husband booked us this wonderful getaway! It was perfect! We enjoyed the beauty of God’s creation surrounding us. Keith and Darrin provided a comfortable, relaxing stay. We stayed in the Captain’s room, which included a fireplace and scenic view from the balcony. It was a spacious, beautiful room, and the bathroom has a jetted tub. We also spent time outside relaxing in a swing. We put feed that was provided out for the deer, and loved watching them come eat. Darrin made a delicious breakfast! “Mario is a super nice guy, and the repair work is quality. He will also work directly with the auto insurance if the cost is any more. He was also able to get me a rental through insurance and drove me to get my rental, so I didn't even have to coordinate for another ride. When I picked up my car, I was happy to see he actually wiped or buffed out another area where I had damage. Then when my car was hit again 6 months later, Mario came out to my nearby business to look at my car in person and helped me out once again. Great, local place to support. Highly recommend!”

“The river area at the park is the perfect place. A really good friend of mine and his wife who visit this spot at least 3 times a week brought my 8 yr old daughter and I here. We both loved it. Great spot to learn or ride in a kayak for the first time and fish as well. My daughter had the opportunity to do both thanks to my buddy and his wife. This spot is not overcrowded, not too loud, and has no hustle and bustle. Great area to sit and relax in the water or drop your kayak in and paddle down the river and back up. I'm looking forward to returning to this location because of how calm the area is.”

“Currently living here at first had some issues but management bent over backwards to make it right. They went above and beyond to correct the problems we had and to ensure that we were happy. I can't say that for most anywhere else these days. It's quiet everyone keeps to themselves and the lots are reasonably priced for the location. Definitely plan on staying awhile and would recommend whether just passing thru or staying for awhile.”

“Cute place, looks cluttered on the outside but it's so small, what do you expect! Sadly, every time I show up they seem to be out for lunch, but I don't blame them. Everytime my mom goes to the Valvoline next door, I'm always begging her to stay a few extra minutes so I can browse. Bought a cute kitten creamer vase and a few floral plates from there. Very organized for all that stuff, which is fantastic. Just a shame they close so early. The only time I have a free vehicle is when my family comes home, and they don't come back till after closing. Love this place with all my heart, and hopefully I can become a regular”

In particular Matt stands out as he has been the cashier on duty my last two visits. He is always engaging and prepared for customers coming in and out. “Edit: The owner was kind enough to take care of things and was very helpful. My fiancé is relieved :) My fiancé lives here and has made several complaints about his neighbors annoying ankle biters barking at all hours of the night and so far nothing has been done. The children that live in the park like to play near his trailer and leave their trash all over his yard. They don't seem to care if they break anything either since they've hit the trailer with a ball multiple times. I was there when it happened and I yelled at them from the window. Of course nothing was done about it.”

“We spent the holiday weekend here at Log Cabins and it was a great experience! Our cabin was clean and well appointed. It was surprisingly quiet given how close we were to the water and the public boat ramp. The resort grounds were clean and quaint with plenty of bbq areas for us to relax outdoors with family and friends. The management staff responded quickly to any of our needs with a friendly smile! We will definitely be back in the near future! Thank y’all for being such great hosts!!”

“I was definitely skeptical about this place after reading reviews. We were 2 couples and staying for Wurstfest. We had a great time and thought the condo was perfect for our needs. Yes the place needs an update but I appreciate not having to pay $$$$$ for a decent place to stay. We all thought the place was extremely clean. Plenty of hot water with comfortable beds. We didn’t do any cooking but they did have a small coffee pot and a wine opener so what else could you ask for right?! Plus the shuttle to the festival was included in the price and was extremely convenient. The main resort had breakfast included but we had to get our fill of breakfast tacos so we didn’t try theirs. For Wurstfest this was a great option and highly recommend. I can’t imagine this to be a bad option in the summer. I don’t need luxurious accommodations to bring kids. They don’t care at all but my wallet is appreciative. The lack of a star for me is because parking spots are not assigned and we had issues with other guests one night. We only had one vehicle and other guests seemed to have several cars making us park out of the way.”
