“I went to Russ a couple of months back to have a whole bag fitting done. We split it up into two sessions to avoid fatigue. Russ was quick to get me into the correct iron shafts and heads utilizing his Flightscope system. I’m pretty sure he’s forgotten more about shafts than most will know over their lifetimes. We moved on to woods the next day. The driver shaft and head added about 15-20 yards and gave me my desired ball flight and spin rate. The 3W was a different story at first. We settled on a shaft that seemed to be a fit at the time. However, after playing with it for a few weeks there was something off. Russ agreed to meet me not once, but twice, to get it figured out. Today, I could not be more happy with my bag setup. If you’re thinking about getting fit, I would highly suggest Russ. He knows his stuff, he fits outdoors and off grass, and if something doesn’t feel correct once you get it out on the course he’ll work with you to make it right. In my opinion, not much more you can ask for out of a fitter.”
