The Frontier Cooking experience wàs both fun and informative. Early evenings at the Village are peaceful and serene. The striking wildflowers in the fields are a definite plus!
Its a very nice place to visit. I went there on a class field trip once. Although if your sick, you probably shouldn't go. I had vomited in the morning but I still wanted to go on the field trip. And because of my stunborness, I ended trowing up on the field trip. But it was a great memory to look back to.
Super awesome and educational!! I did a themed shoot out there and it was perfect!! Just make sure you pay the photography fee.
Great place for a nice stroll through the history of North Texas. The history trapped in the buildings and furnishings are eye opening. It really gives you a sense of life in the late 1800s. They offer blacksmith, natural dye, cooking classes as well as a living farm to see how things were set up when everything started.
Mostly open and fun to see. This place really gives you an appreciation for how we live today. Lots to experience including the school, church, hotel, the home of the great grandfather of Howard Hughes and so much more. We saw blacksmiths in action and musicians and artists all doing their thing. Teach your loved ones about life and lifestyles of a day long ago.
