  Oh. My. Gosh. If you haven’t yet had the chance to try Gemma, put it next on your list. We went late night after being out at the fair all day back in October, and we had the best time. We sat at the bar and it was great. They serve you savory scones to start off with. We got a little bit of everything. The scallop carpaccio was amazing. It was incredibly light on the tongue and refreshing. Late night oysters at $2 a piece were great. Salad was probably my least favorite dish of the night but still fantastic. The veal sweetbreads were cooked perfectly; that’s the first time I’ve enjoyed sweetbreads! The fried quail was impeccable. The rabbit pasta was the perfect amount of savory, and it was my first time having Duroc pork and it is just as good as everyone’s every said it was. I think one of my favorite dishes of the night were the trumpet mushrooms. I could have eaten plates and plates of them! The coffee and desserts were all phenomenal. I don’t think I have one bad thing to say about this place, except I love that you have hand towels, but just get rid of the paper ones already! I can’t wait to come back here.

  Their fried olives were definitely worth getting! The main course of rib eye with green peppercorn sauce melted in your mouth. It's worth the trip?

  Gemma still finds a way to shine even during Covid. I stopped by for some takeout this afternoon and was very happy with what I ordered. The quail paired with corn was amazing and the heirloom tomato salad was on the same level. Hopefully in the future I can make a trip back when we can finally eat inside again.

  We ordered curbside and had a great meal. We literally ordered almost every item on the menu and loved all of it. Currently, it's hard to get creative food to go just based on who is open and what is amenable to serve up. Gemma delivered on it. Give them your support and enjoy a great meal.

  Tried it for the first time today to celebrate a birthday. The service was great, Chad, our server was nice and attentive. Atmosphere was pretty casual and the place was clean. Parking is limited but they do have a valet, so bring cash to tip them. I had the crab salad and the steak. The salad was okay but was still pretty refreshing. The steak was good, seasoned well, and cooked as ordered. People are raving about the scones and they are not lying, these scones are crazy good. I had a good experience but there was something missing with the food, I felt like I could go to a local chain restaurant and taste the same meal, I probably need to try something else next time.
