  This is one of my go to places for brunch, and to take out of town visitors to. The food is usually great, 95-100% of the time. It really gets down to the staff you have serving you. Someone who knows the ropes, the experience is great. Someone knew, you might not enjoy it. The thing is they get really busy, so get there a little earlier than you might think. The other thing is, you can go to the bakery bar and order a drink while you wait in line. I just really wish they would make improvements to that.

  Just had brunch here with a friend on. Sunday morning. There was just two of us and it was probably about a 20-30 minute wait. It's a very cozy, home style cafe, the kind you feel is ran by a welcoming grandmother in her kitchen. I ordered the crab cake Benedict and it was pretty tasty and super filling. I could barely finish it and I usually eat a decent amount of food. I also had a mimosa. It's nice they offer brunch cocktails, too. We had the window table and it was nice out, so it was great. Super friendly servers! Would return.

  Strawberries & cream waffle were excellent. Grits were surprisingly creamy with a broiled crunchy top. Everything else was pretty standard eggs and potatoes. The bakery has amazing looking baked good (i didn't try but I plan to on next visit). Service was the only think that knocked it down. Might have caught everyone on a rough day but from moment I walked in nobody was very friendly. Easy to overlook when the food is good though. Perfect brunch location.
