“When I was seven months pregnant, my doctor decided to change career paths, and she chose Dr. Welsh as her replacement. Although I knew nothing about Dr. Welsh, my husband and I decided to stay, given that we loved my previous doctor and everyone at Swiss OBGYN (the name of the office), so trusted that they would choose a great replacement. Needless to say, our intuition proved correct. We have nothing but wonderful things to say about Dr. Welsh. First, he is incredibly competent and thorough. Whenever I asked any questions, he always answered so clearly and thoroughly. I also appreciated how he would explain all of the options that were available to me, including pros and cons of each. Second, he is very kind and calm. I experienced some complications during delivery, and as first time parents, my husband and I didn't know what to expect. We felt confident that we were in good hands, and Dr. Welsh's relaxed and friendly demeanor helped keep us from becoming nervous about the situation. After the delivery, Dr. Welsh visited our hospital room every morning to see how I was feeling and how things were going. Overall, he helped make the pregnancy process go very well. One side note about his office, Swiss OBGYN: when I was pregnant, there were countless appointments that I needed to attend. Swiss was always very timely - I never waited more than a couple of minutes past my appointment time. The entire staff is also incredibly friendly and helpful. This was important to me, especially from the doctor perspective, given that there was a chance Dr. Welsh couldn't deliver my baby depending on when I went into labor.”
