“Camp Wisdom, owned by the Dallas Circle 10 Council of the BSA, has been around for decades. It is particularly known for support of shooting sports; rifle, pistol, and shotgun. The three ranges are excellent and extremely well maintained by a very active shooting sports committee. Even though it is only 20 miles from our Scout Troop meeting place, we had not been there, as we are in a different Council. We have two certified instructors in our Troop so we went there this past weekend. The temperatures were still Texas Summer like (highs mid-90s, low 75, and very humid) but we had a great time anyway. All Scouts who needed it qualified for the merit badge. We did not check out the rest of the camp, but it looked good on the way by.”

“This is my second experience with the camp. I had a family reunion there in July '14 that was well received overall My second visit was on June 8, '19. There's still lots of room and plenty of activity. The putt putt golf area needed supervision and lawn maintenance. I enjoyed the zip line which was new. We brought our own food; but, I didn't hear any complaints about the camp's food. The map of the resort can stand improvement because some visitors said the map misled them to and from the areas away from the main family areas. In closing, I look forward to my next visit to experience what I missed.”

“Low cost and affordable! It was enough space for my family & I. In our room was a stove with an oven. A full size fridge. Microwave. I like how the sofa let out to a queen size ???? bed for my wife and me! Our children had two full size beds in their seperated bedrm with a door. Surrounding areas had a Regios, Taco Cabana, Taco Bell, 7-Eleven and more within a one block radius.”

“Sandra sorry to hear your parents had an issue but after speaking to them i told not to ever wait till office is open please call the Redbird number and leave a message with lot # and the problem no matter how far i am i will get them to it to get fixed and also leave a call back number , the problem was fixed already and we are doing clean up i have never heard from them on an electrical problem so not sure what happen there , But please feel free to call with any issues and i will try my best to resolve right away.”

“A great location (located centrally in Dallas). Rooms (we had 2) were very clean and breakfast selection and food items were great. Enjoyed the indoor swimming pool and hot tub. Stayed with children ages 6 and 10 who loved it as well. Towels were not readily available though which was the only downside.”

“After coming from Great Wolf Lodge this hotel was a God send. So clean, so quiet. The staff were pleasant and room provides everything you need. The shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel were in large fancy dispensers connected to the wall of the shower, so there was no concern about needing more and no hassle in getting it out of one of those tiny little bottles. The Great Wolf Lodge gave us a tiny bottle of shampoo conditioner combination. The beds were clean and comfy and the towels were perfect. I will stay here every tine from now on.”

“Very clean, peaceful environment, just like home and very good price. My wife and I have been staying here for almost a week and we absolutely love it here. It don't feel like your staying at a motel it feels like your renting a room in a nice house with really good roommates. And the price is unbeatable and very good deal if you decide you want to go long term. And also they don't ask for a deposit like many other motels do. But if you have pets I think they do I'm not sure about that.”
