“This place is amazing! We're in town just for the weekend and we were looking for a decent place to eat and Darren's turned up on our Yelp search. We weren't sure Google Maps was taking us to the right place because it seemed a little residential. The restaurant is located in a strip mall and it's a no frills looking place. Do not let that fool you, though. This is, hands down, the best food I've had in a long time. The smoked prime rib is their Saturday special. Darren gave us a sample and we all regretted not choosing the prime rib. From the burgers to the chicken fried steak to the steak fingers.... Every meal was delicious. The wait staff is friendly and they all seem to get along and work together well. The restaurant had love music which added a nice touch to the overall ambiance. When we're back in town, we'll be going back to Darren's. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.”

We decided to take a tour after the gym because it was so close- and other complexes are several hundred dollars more for similar sized units- it seemed too good to be true, so we had to see for ourselves. The manager Tatianne, was so helpful and the newly updated model was stunning. We knew before leaving the parking lot that we had to get here ASAP. The way its laid out definitely makes it feel like a home and not another apartment, and we plan on being here for the next few years! Can't wait to meet the neighbors!”

“Almost two years ago, we moved my parents into Arbor House Garland Assisted Living… they didn’t want to go at the time, but mom did well and my dad really flourished there. Sadly, dad passed away this February and my mom’s dementia had progressed to the point that we needed to move her to memory care, Arbor Gardens. We have been very pleased with the care she has received there. Arbor House and Arbor Gardens aren’t perfect, but there is no perfect place, it just doesn’t exist. What we did find was a place that watched out for them, served good food, dispensed medicines, cleaned, developed a caring relationship, and was there for them 24/7. It took a staff consisting of a lot of people, but Arbor House/Gardens has taken care of my parents at a level above what I had the ability to provide. We feel extremely fortunate to have found Arbor House/Gardens. They have gently helped us through the very difficult time of moving mom to memory care. They are caring, loving and attentive to my mom, and my family and I appreciate so much the entire staff of Arbor House Garland.”
