(February 18, 2020, 5:25 pm)Arriving to Clarion Inn to check-in I was impressed with its interior despite others that left bad reviews about it, but nothing too crazy. I booked my room days out, so checking-in was just a verification of my information and it went by smoothly. After checking in it was mentioned about the shuttle to the airport which I imagine runs smoother than being picked up from the airport. I recommend going about it that way versus waiting for a pickup at the airport because I never got the call from the shuttle driver after I called the hotel requesting a pickup at the airport. Signing up for shuttle pickup the day I fly out was just me leaving my room number and preferred pickup time on a sign up sheet at the front desk a day prior.
The room was cute! And I loved its interior colors presented. It appeared well-maintained, but while showering I did find hairs on the shower curtain which was probably a miss by the cleaning staff. The bed was very comfortable which comfort is always a high priority for me along with cleanliness, and the hotel met my standards with both. I had so little rest prior to my arrival, but was able to get quality rest during my stay.
After dropping my things I got the chance to tour the hotel. And I must say that it smelled wonderful! My first stop was the bistro bar & restaurant to see what food items were available and get a gauge of the prices. At the time of my stay, bistro bar & restaurant offered 10% off of a meal purchase which was attached with the card to my room. Bistro bar & restaurant is a life saver especially if you have no interest in eating out. And it is comprised of breakfast, lunch, dinner, and even alcoholic beverage options.
If you wish not to purchase any of the snack or food items in the pantry, there is a shell gas station within a reasonable walking distance from the hotel as well as a Whataburger attached. And both are no more than a thirteen minute walk away from the hotel.
Being a fitness enthusiasts I had to check out the fitness center which did not appear too bad, however, once I got the chance to work out in it, that is when I got the full on feeling of it. The machines appeared very basic as like any other hotel fitness machines. While riding the stationary bike it literally felt like a sauna inside and there was no air conditioner whatsoever. It would have also been nice to be able to utilize the flat screen television, but there was no remote control present which having access would have assisted with making the workout easier. And the treadmill seemed as though it was on its last days of life.
What I was not fond of while using the fitness center, being able to swim indoors made up for it because I have not swam in so long. And I had it all to myself both the hot tub and pool, which the depth ranges from 3 feet to 5 feet. It felt great to soak my legs in the pool and swim after doing a 4 mile run in the area.
Overall, I had a pleasant stay at Clarion Inn & Suites; I was treated no less than a customer during my stay, and during my encounters with any of the hotel staff they were helpful and friendly. Not bad Clarion Inn, not bad! I would book another stay here in a heartbeat while visiting Dallas.

(February 15, 2020, 5:09 pm)Took my granddaughters here for the indoor pool, they loved it! Rooms were comfortable and unbelievably quiet, especially since we were on the airport side. I would have liked a bit softer mattress, they were rather hard for me. But overall, it's a very nice place, friendly folks and a good price.

(November 25, 2019, 8:49 pm)Dated, no frills, but very decent for a one night stay. Free shuttle service, comfortable beds, and clean rooms - you can't ask for more for an overnight layover. Staff was pleasant and accommodating. I would stay here again for an overnight stay.

(October 3, 2019, 11:11 am)Incredible service, courteous and friendly staff and Dr. Levatino is as cool as they come. I can't recommend Dr. Sam enough.
I'm genuinely terrified of the dentist, but they make it such a painless and nice experience.
If you're new to the area and looking for a new dentist, or just tired of corporate environments, try Dr. Levatino. They're personable and extremely thorough/knowledgeable.
They also give quality goodie bags at the end of your visit-- I never have to buy toothbrushes/toothpaste!
