“I was a bit frustrated when I first showed up. I've been a Red Cross donor since my teen years and was used to being able to find a RC walk in in center, not in TX. I ended up at the Carter Bloodcare center in Mesquite. I was reluctant as I had up until then never heard of them. After making another attempt to find a Red Cross center and failing I returned to Carter. I am glad did! Right from the receptionist through the whole screening process to my donation, an absolutely enjoyable experience. Every person there was a pleasure to talk to. At no point did I feel like a number, the whole experience and interaction will keep me returning to them.”

“They seem pretty organized and the eye exam is quick. We only waited about 10 minutes to do the initial exam and then another 10 to see the doctor. The doctor was very professional and provided great suggestions for my elderly grandmother. She ordered 2 sets of glasses and it cost a little over $200 including the exam without insurance. The glasses were ready for pick up within a week. I was not happy with the pick up process, however because none of the 3 associates in the clinic acknowledged my presence until I had to speak up.”

“I’m not sure what all the complaints are about. This store is great for people who have clothes they know they aren’t going to wear anymore that are still trendy and in good condition... This store is not for people who want to walk out with basically what they paid for the item. You might only get two dollars for an item but if you’re plan is to get rid of used clothes by a simple process then this place is great. As far as shopping goes, I do think they accept some clothes that aren’t the best quality so I’d defiantly make sure there’s nothing they accidentally missed. I bought a shirt and the same day realized there was a tear in the seam and they let me return with no hassle. Definitely worth checking out occasionally because you can find some really great things for a low price if you look hard enough.”

“This is the place to go if you are crafty and in need of some awesome supplies. They have everything you need to do any craft you would like to do. 8 walked in looking for sticks to make Carmel apples and they had about 10 choices. The store was full of Halloween and Christmas supplies and tons of other craft gear. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I found what I was looking for and got out of there for less than 2 dollars”
