“Confession time: I've had debilitating health anxiety my entire life. We're talking... as a five year old, I knew terms like "flesh-eating bacteria" and was regularly convinced that I had every affliction you could imagine. Dr. Shepherd, in my opinion, is everything a doctor should be; she's the kind of doctor who LISTENS to you, even when what you have to say won't fit into the obligatory five minutes that MOST doctors are willing to spend with you. She's knowledgeable and articulate, but most importantly? She's kind. She's welcoming. "Going to the doctor" has always been a terrifying experience for me, but not with her. Her staff has changed a few times since I've been her patient, but they've always been polite and helpful. Most recently, Luisa was the medical assistant, and I loved chatting with her. I've never had any issues with this office; my only complaint is that they're a bit of a drive for me, but even so, I'm more than willing to make that drive in order to remain a patient here. I highly recommend this office and this doctor.”

“I went to Dr. Metha for a second opinion on knee replacement. I was not pleased with the previous orthopedic doctor I had seen. Dr. Metha confirmed I needed both knees replaced. I did one in April of 2018 and the other in December of 2018. In both cases I did great and recovered quickly. I was back to work in three weeks, this is very unusual so don't expect it for yourself. I just did not have a lot of sick time and so I pushed it and I made it with both knees. I did my Rehab next door with Tetyana. She and her crew are great!”
