“Awesome experience at BreakThrough PT in Amberly. Pooja Patel was my therapist for 25+ visits. I found Pooja to be extremely knowledgeable in her field. She went above and beyond to accommodate my schedule after a serious medical issue with needed 1 on 1 time. Pooja listens and more importantly, remembers and adapts to your feedback. You are not just a number to Pooja. She was always friendly and eager to help me see improvement. Kenny Biggs was great as well, always engaging and helpful. Many interns over the summer (Gabe!) helping out were all pleasant to work with. Regarding the review about not following COVID mask protocols. In my experience, masks were on 100% of the time. Interns would diligently wipe down EVERYTHING I touched. Never saw a single exception.”

“Kitty/cat heaven!! We adopted sister kittens. The whole process was WONDERFUL! The inside is wonderful as well. There are a couple of "play rooms" for the kittens/cats. There are also a couple actual bedrooms I have to assume would be for boarding. The staff is very informative and patient answering questions. I actually had someone keep in touch with me via text messaging. She sent me pictures of my angels. The only negative thing I can think of is the front desk is not as responsive or welcoming.”

“I arrived to Phoenix house in November 2017, and I spent Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years there. For every holiday they make sure to celebrate it normally, with lots of food and even presents! I left the day of my 17th birthday. Before coming to Phoenix house I was a very troubled teenager using a handful of drugs weekly, sometimes daily. When I arrived I told my counselor Susanna I can’t see myself getting any better and that I don’t want to get better. I went along with the program and all of the sudden I felt happier, more confident, less withdrawals, and I finally found myself! It’s interesting how much you change while being in treatment little by little every day, and you hardly notice it. When you get to the middle of treatment it’s so much easier, you have a routine, you’ve established friendships and relationships with the staff, you’ve learned about yourself, and by then you’ve probably accomplished a handful of goals. Of course you’re going to have hard days in here, it’s not possible to have a great day every day, but my motto I learned while here was, “it’s a bad moment, not a bad day.” I have now been back to Phoenix house a handful of times to talk to the girls and revisit with the staff. The facility has been renovated and looks amazing now, that I’m almost jealous! I have continued my sobriety and I’m now studying to be a ER nurse at Stephen F Austin. Although it’s been 3 years since I was admitted, I’m so happy to have changed my course in life and without Phoenix house I absolutely would not be who I am today. If you’re looking for addiction treatment program, this is definitely where you want to be.”

Finally I called StoneTex on a whim, and after sending them a few pictures Joey quoted me and sent a few guys out really fast. They put extra supports under the sink to help make sure that this doesn't happen again.”
