Humble Donut Co. at KERN

My wife and I happened to notice this place while driving by and swung in to check it out. We were immediately impressed as soon as we walked in - the place was very clean and the "donut chef" was incredibly polite and helpful. You can't go wrong with all the options. Honestly, we were so impressed that we tossed around the idea of opening something like this back home!

Everyone has got to try these delicious lil 🍩 donuts, at least once!! (Bet you'll go back!!) Pick your flavor 😋 They are delicious (ok, I love sweets!!!❤)

UPDATE: The owner followed up and was genially appreciative of the feedback and a cool guy. We chatted about the experience and it was great to learn more about their business model and adding donuts to the original business concept. He insisted in turning this experience into a positive one and treated me to donuts. Wow! The donuts are delicious. I used them as part of a charcuterie spread I made that night and were a hit with the family. I liked them so much I purchase two more dozens as gifts the following day and got positive feedback. Thank Genaro for the follow up and for your professionalism. I look forward to future orders/visits from your store.

Original Post: Called to place an order for curbside pick up. Got no answer the first time. Tried again and got a voicemail instructing me to dial another number to place an order. I did as instructed, placed my order with a man and provided him with my credit card. Easy and fast. I got a call from a young girl stating her boss could not take my order and asked me to repeat my order. I explained that I just spoke to a man that helped me, took my order and payment and I was on my way. I arrived at the place of business and called and got no answer. So I called back the number the girl called from and she said she needed my receipt. I explained I didn’t have one since it was a phone order but confirmed it was charged to my card. She then said she called the other location and they had no order under my phone. Frustrated by now, then I called the number that was suggested I call from the voice mail and the man tells me my order is ready. He then confirms he’s at a different location. I then explain what happened and kindly ask that he have the location I’m at fulfill my order. He said that he can’t because they are under different ownership. I then asked that he please refund my money. He sent a copy of the receipt with my credit via text confirming the refund. Trying to support local and unfortunately this was not my day. I hope they can figure this curbside service out. Was really looking forward to trying this place out as I just moved here and live down the street. Stay safe y’all.

I really appreciate the customer service here, it’s genuine! Had my order ready whenever it worked for them and myself and it came out wonderful. Super cute and special for any occasion.

Loved the detailed menu that had flavor choices, number of donuts, and pricing. The menu along with being able to text about your order made it easy to order a custom box. Only expected the donuts to look cute, but they tasted amazing as well.
