“I will admit I am so nervous about finding someone new to work on my hair, I have had too many bad things happen in the past, so I was nervous finding someone to work on my hair for my wedding day. I didn’t want to wait for a trial to see if there was a good energy connection, so I booked a haircut and style with Brooke long before my trial and wedding day. If Brooke is cutting hair, I will be going to her, she listened to my wants, needs and desires and delivered on them. I left so happy with how my hair was cut. Fast forward to my hair and makeup trail, which I had saved a few photos for inspiration for how I’d like my hair to be done and then left the makeup up to her, I am not a makeup person so if she’d pressed for information for that look, who knows how I’d have looked. My trail look was everything I could have imagined; my hair and makeup were flawless and amazing. For my wedding day Brooke had her hands full with 3 additional hairstyles, an extra makeup session and then my practiced hair and makeup. She was confident in her skills and gave us nearly exact timing on how long it would take her for each service, which she was correct on. I am so glad she moved to Texas, and I was able to find her for all my future needs when it comes to hair and makeup.”

“This place creates opportunities to develop a new life for all who chose to decide to use this place. Our story is one that we were unable to have children the natural way. Some years later we decided to go adoption route. They have an orientation to present the different opportunities and what to expect. TBH is a foster, foster-to-adopt, adoption. We chose adoption. Next was a meeting for a decision of special needs, siblings, mixed race, infant or older children, also the choices of open, semi-open, semi-closed, & closed. The first thing was home-study, background check, medical history & also CPR cert. Also there is the basic financial requirement. We were to create a "welcome letter" & a small "scrap book" inviting a potential mother to release their child into our care. They conducted meetings monthly on various training topics. We were to have a certain amount of hours before formal adoption. Long story short we received a call that a mother had decided to adopt out right as she was there at the hospital. We rushed over as soon as the news. We decided to leave the status open adoption so that there was a comfort of seeing their child taken care of. We now have included them in our lives as much as they are comfortable with. Our now 2 year old knows very well that she has two mommies, two daddies, & two sets of family. We are actually going to meet up again with the birthdad this evening. This place created this opportunity”
