“Stayed here for three days loved the condo is real close to the beach an has a pool an hot tub right out the front door. The condo comes with everything you would need. Has chairs for the beach an boards to play on. Check in an check out are a breeze. Plan on staying a hole week here next summer.”

“Pros Reasonably priced, it is right across from the beach on Seawall Blvd. with a variety of restaurants close by. The suite was nice it had a main room with a King bed, bathroom, and a table with three chairs with an ocean/beach view. There was an adojining what I would call a kitchenette with a small sink, microwave, and small refrigerator/freezer. The other room had two twins and a desk area also with a limited beach/ocean view. We brought our dog with us, and there was no fee we just had to sign a pet agreement. Cons Parking was tight, vehicles were close to each other, but we were given a parking permit and did not have any trouble getting a spot. Ice machine was out of ice. Elevator worked, but it was small. Windows by table area were dirty with smudge marks. Overall I would recommend it.”

Would have appreciated a few more amenities such as beach towels and more kitchen towels (and maybe a citronella candle).”

“This place is very affordable at the times we got it. Mari Gras weekend they tend to jack up the prices but I think we got a deal on this one..the place is older so u can't expect anything but how old the place is.. So I was very pleased on the price the bed was comfortable nice hot water and very thick towels.. The manager owner in the front was very polite and I felt my car was safe because she was always watching..which is a good thing.. I was definitely be booking another time whenever we r in Galveston.. I Loved the place..”

It was so peaceful.. all the workers are very friendly, the pool and lazy river were clean, sites are well kept and spacious, the gift shop had a lot of cute stuff and just about everything you could need. This was our first time staying on the west end and we did not regret it! The margaritas you can get st the office/gift shop were delicious. This place is great for literally all ages. We will be back!”

“My husband and I had the privilege of being a guest this past weekend of Hattie's Place, Too. Our room was The Vin #1 which offered every amenity you could ever need along with the quiet and cozy atmosphere we needed. The owner Debra ensured that all of our needs were met above & beyond our expectations. I was glad to see that this room was equipped with a full kitchen, full size refrigerator, dishwasher, range and all of the pots & pans. You will live as if you are in your own apartment which is fantastic. Everything was clean and well maintained. We added The Anniversary package which we have no regrets because it was well done and absolutely worth it. Simply Beautiful. We will be back again. Thanks so much Debra for all of your hard work. “This is the second time I stay at this hotel with my family of five. The location is great. Our room had two king size beds, and a view of the ocean , room 306 on the third floor. I loved that there was a table by the window to view the water while the kids ate snacks. There was no lock for the restroom but no big issue, overall our room was great. Clean sheets, cold AC, blackout curtains.”

“Awesome place to have a little getaway. Very accommodating for couples and families. The location is perfect and there is plenty to do on site and within walking distance. The free breakfast is all homemade and old school recipes. The staff is exceptional as well. Ill definitely return here for another weekend vacation. “My best friend and I stayed at Carr Mansion for a girls weekend a couple of weeks ago, and what a fabulous weekend it was! We were greeted upon arrival and shown to the Honeymoon room. The room along with the whole house was so charming! The main living spaces were warm and inviting with soft music in the background. Joellyn was the most gracious host. When we went down for happy hour she sat with us for a bit and chatted. We were laughing and sharing stories instantly. She has such beautiful way of making you feel like you’ve known her forever and like you are right at home. Both mornings she had coffee and fruit waiting for us when we woke up and then the most delicious pancake breakfast with sausage, bacon, fruit and mimosas! I wish every Sunday morning started out like that! I really can’t imagine staying anywhere else when we visit Galveston. I can’t wait to go back soon!”
