“It was great, the rooms were large with tall ceilings nice king bed cozy lounge area with pullout couch and cable tv. We didn't bring the kids this trip but next time we come we will be booking at this location as it was perfect for the kids. Cant beat the price for the accommodations provided. We went to several locations before choosing this one. They don't have a big selection of hot breakfast items, but it was clean and staff was very helpful.”

“Pretty standard hotel room, clean and spacious. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was fine but not spectacular. Stayed here mainly for the shuttle to our cruise ship at the pier; everything ran smoothly and the shuttle was on time!”

“One of the major plus points about this RV park is that you can walk to the beach without having to cross the road. The rest rooms, showers and laundry are all well maintained and clean. They have a play area for the kids if you can drag them away from the beach. I love that they dont charge per person on the sight but do charge for parking of additional vehicles, RV and one car are included, then $10 per additional car. We stayed on a pull through site 50/30 amp water and sewer.”

“RV Park is beautiful, very clean, and the staff is so helpful and friendly. Concrete slabs are level. No problems with hook ups. They do not offer cable unless you stay a month. We did not use the bath house so I can’t comment on it. They have a nice playground, splash pad and swimming pool. We didn’t use the splash pad or pool because it was too cold, but some folk did and they were loving it. Location is very good. Not far from Galveston Sea Wall and local Walmart. Recommend Stella Mare as a place to stay while in Galveston. We will definitely be back.”

“There isn't a lot to do at the resort but that is more than made up for by location. We were within about 100-200 feet from the beach. We could look out our balcony and see our teenagers playing on the beach. The rooms were clean, adequately sized, and had decent furniture. Not top level stuff but also not cheap stuff either. We were minutes from the main strip with plenty of places to eat at and have fun. The resort is close to the Pleasure Pier which although it sounds like an adults only place is actually a family friendly boardwalk/carnival. I thought the Pleasure Pier was a little over priced but not out of line for a vacation spot. The resort is also very close to Houston which gives you even more places to go and have fun. My four kids, ranging ages 5-16, loved it and my wife and I were very happy with it as well. We were there off season so I would think during the summer there would be even more fun stuff to do”
