“Very laid back bar in a place "close" to the middle of town. Originally went out for steak night but to our demise there was no steak that night that was offered. That did not stop us from having a good time! The pizza was also great. You cannot go wrong with their food and atmosphere. There was also a lot of social games available such as ping long and plenty of large TVs to watch games on. Great outdoor seating availability. Updated and docked a star since I heard they haven't had steak night in a while. The advertisement for it need to go away.”

“The cheeseburger was excellent. The beef was well done and very tasty and extremely juicy. It was also seasoned perfectly. The bread was fresh-baked and you could tell. The cheese and the condiments were all tasty. This was a regular run-of-the-mill cheeseburger done quite appetizingly. The thighs were some of my favorite fries at any burger joint. They were the hand cut which were a little bit thick and they were crispy on the outside with a delicious soft fluffy center. The fries were also seasoned to perfection. The patties were a little bit large and we're not made smash style which is how I prefer my cheeseburgers and because of this the patties didn't have that crisp charred outer layer that provides that umami taste but the overall flavor and juiciness of the burger more than made up for it. The only real problem that I had was the amount of cheese on the burger. It seemed like there was minimal cheese on it and looked sparse on the burger so while the burger meat stood out I didn't get enough of that cheesiness with the beef in my mouth like some other burger places do it. It was hard for me to give this a 4 out of 5 because by every other respect it definitely deserved five stars but the place was lackluster, no beer or alcohol, and the minor issue of not enough cheese on the burger detracted from this otherwise scrumptious all American cheeseburger. I definitely would give this a try and if you live close enough to this place this can totally be your go-to for burgers.”

“Loved the atmosphere here! They have great mixed cocktail beverages, and a large selection of beers. Didn't get a chance to eat the food there, but they had food trucks around 12 and 1am that hit the spot. I don't recommended getting just a regular vodka soda or a whiskey coke, only reason is you will get more of your money's worth to just spend the extra 2 or 3 more dollars to get a fancy specialty cocktails. I had a few and they were awesome! Will definitely go back again.”

“Barbecue Inn has been here since 1946. If you don't appreciate old school then you may not appreciate Barbecue Inn. I, however, love it. We visit often and love the staff. I am told the barbecue is very good but I've never eaten it. But the seafood is great, the chicken fried steak and chicken fried chicken breast are excellent. The salad is iceberg and tomato. Nothing is overly seasoned - nor should it be in this restaurant. They have been in business since 1946 so they are doing something right. It is a bit like stepping back in time which is another reason I love it. We like to go for late lunch or early dinner and one day I promise to order the barbecue.”

“I had dinner here on a week night with a friend who eats there often and loves it. They became very busy while we were there which was surprising for a week day night. The service is friendly if not a tiny bit intrusive. A whole lot of checking on us to make sure we were okay. I guess I'm not accustomed to it. I had Orange Chicken and tofu spring rolls, my friend had a vegetarian meal, with egg drop soup. The food was tasty and plentiful. I had to stop myself from cleaning my plate! Prices are reasonable and we both had leftovers to take home. The ladies bathroom was very clean and easily found. It's on 22nd and Yale in what used to be the Long John Silver building.”
