  Let me start by saying I have been a proud Coogie since August 2012. Since this time I have had to visit the UH Health Clinic several times- for colds, flus, sinus infections, and bladder issues. I have also been to the Women's Clinic, for which has been especially helpful for me.
  I have to say the staff that works there is beyond helpful and understanding. They are attentive to your needs and work with you to make sure your every need is met from the diagnosis of the health issue to the medication you might need afterwards.
  I am writing this review today to comment on how wonderful the Women's Clinic is in making sure you 1. Feel comfortable 2. Receive the special care you deserve and 3. Do not feel judged or like you are just a number.
  I have visited the Women's Clinic on a few occasions and every time the gynecologist has been gentle with the exam and always assured me that I would be ok. She answered every question I had and never once made me feel like my concerns were insignificant. In addition, the nurse was always very caring towards me and would ask how I was doing with school.
  I would highly suggest going here as a student and utilizing the services they offer while you can. It may be pricey if you stock up on testing, but the care you receive is high quality.

  Pharmacy: They are quick on refills and usually take no more than 5 minutes to prepare them if they have not already been done. They always go over my prescriptions with me, which isn't necessary, but I'd rather have the information repeated to me than miss something important.
  
  Health clinic: Front desk person walked me through the check-in process and was very friendly. Doctor was quick and thorough with my check-up (for a sore throat)and even talked to me about student health insurance. Didn't do anything excessive or costly, just wanted to make sure I could afford what I needed. Got me in and out in less than 30 minutes with an antibiotic waiting at the pharmacy. Once I got downstairs, the doc called the pharmacy after she realized the antibiotic would interact with my other medication and quickly got me a new prescription. Good thing!
  
  If you are transgender, consider this a safe space. During my appointment, I was never misgendered or called by my legal name, even by the front desk person, and the nurse was careful with the language she used when asking about my last menstrual. The pharmacists don't keep preferred names or transgender status in their documents, so it's a bit trickier, but a much quicker visit so it's manageable. Overall, the staff really stood out as knowledgeable and caring people.
